ID vowed to make Nihira a star before his death, but is that possible given ID's popularity and success rate? Nihira should have the backing of such current music directors such as Rahman, HR, etc., only that will do justice to her beautiful voice the Nature has given to her!!!

What are you talking?? You are saying ID would not do justice to Nihira's voice, but HR would? I don't know if I should laugh or cry at your comment. ID is a great music director and if you don't know, Shreya Ghoshal, Kay Kay, they became popular with Ismail Darbar's music. He has done music like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Kisna, Tera Jaadu Chal Gaya. He can make Nihira a star with his one single song like the way he made Shreya a star by "Bairi Piya". Ismail Darbar makes songs which will last forever. I can imagine listening to ID's Tadap Tadap, Humesha Tumko Chaha, Bairi Pia, Aye Chaand Tere Chandni ki Kasam songs after 10 years with the same interest but I can't imagine listening to HR's Aashiq banaye apne even after 2 years. It's really sad when people don't appreciate good music. That is the reason Nihira is out of the show today.

Right kanta............Actually speaking among the four mentors Jatin-LAlit have been my most favorite music director but they absolutely failed as mentors. They were the most jealous person. I dont understand such a big music directors will stoop too low level to go and comment about Joyeeta by calling her singing expression as Kothewali and then also what on the earth made them say Bhikari bhik maang raha hai to joyeeta. They never learnt to maintain their dignity level. Then comes Ismail darbar who has given good music and also succeded as a mentor. Rather I would say that he is a good teacher around..........But I never liked Himesh Reshamiya as a music director and not even as a mentor...........He is a below average person and go till any level to play political tricks........And AS, I dont know personally, but from body language I can make out that he is a dumb person and rarely he has given any famous music in films accept for Baghban which was a hit.........He is the weakest music director among these 4.

it is true that HR has a lot of films on his plate currently.

however, it takes one good song to give a hit as Kanta has already mentioned.

ID is fully capable of providing such a song.

Well, Bulba's post shows us how good judges we r....comparing ID with HR....Oh My God...I think I'm having a heart attack....I agree that HR has given some good music but their lifespan(like Kanta said) isn't even a year...whereas ID's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam or Devdas which were quite a long way back makes u as emotional n touches as much as it did the first time..thats the depth of ID's music...n plz lets not judge GOOD music by what plays how many times in the discos or pubs!!! But I guess that's wat we r down to..else Nihira couldn't b out under any circumstances!!

Musicwise I think ID is better than HR. But HR's music has catchly tunes to attract the younger generation.

Shreya Goshal was 19 when ID gave her break in Devdas. Her Bairi Piya and Dola Re Dola... became chartbusters. Dola Re ..gave several awards to her including very prestigious National Award in 2003 (50th yearof National awards).... And the rest is history.

Has HR given such fame and recognition to any new comer?

Comparing Ismail Darbar with HR is like comparing Rafi with Vinit.

Please guys....keep your ears open and listen to ID's music. He is one of the finest music director who gives tons of finishing touches to song with classical notes.

Don't forget greatest song from the film Albela Sajan Ayori....and ofcourse the Title Song....Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.........You gotta be kidding if you are comparing HR with ID......

HR has to go long way to come to the level of ID although he has given some good numbers.

Cheers
