I'm seeing a great many posts by people saying that they hate so-and-so and that they will stop watching Zee, etc.
It is understandable that you are upset when your favourite gets eliminated from the show. Even I was upset that Nihira got eliminated this early.
But, honestly, do you think that WINNING this competition is really what matters? If you think about it, all of these contestants have gained so much from this competition; the exposure and training will help them go further in their music careers.
Why are people acting as if it is the end of the world with Nihira getting eliminated? She is 17 years old, she has a long life ahead of her! I am happy she didn't win, coz she wont be bound by Zee's contracts. She will have a wider span of opportunities. Also, just based on this competition, she gained several offers to sing.
Plus, whenever public voting is involved, we WILL have such deviations there is NOTHING new in this. Everyone will go one day coz in the end there are only 1 or 2 winners.
But, each contestant is a winner in their own right. They all got the chance to get noticed, they ALL got the chance to record songs with MDs. if you think about it, the overall quality of the contestants of SRGMP is much much better than other similar shows. So, I dont think SRGMP has completely deteriorated.
In the end, SRGMP or no SRGMP, water will find its own level and cream will always rise to the top.
Don't mourn for Nihira, friends. She HAS been noticed and she WILL go far.
