I'm seeing a great many posts by people saying that they hate so-and-so and that they will stop watching Zee, etc.

It is understandable that you are upset when your favourite gets eliminated from the show. Even I was upset that Nihira got eliminated this early.

But, honestly, do you think that WINNING this competition is really what matters? If you think about it, all of these contestants have gained so much from this competition; the exposure and training will help them go further in their music careers.

Why are people acting as if it is the end of the world with Nihira getting eliminated? She is 17 years old, she has a long life ahead of her! I am happy she didn't win, coz she wont be bound by Zee's contracts. She will have a wider span of opportunities. Also, just based on this competition, she gained several offers to sing.

Plus, whenever public voting is involved, we WILL have such deviations there is NOTHING new in this. Everyone will go one day coz in the end there are only 1 or 2 winners.

But, each contestant is a winner in their own right. They all got the chance to get noticed, they ALL got the chance to record songs with MDs. if you think about it, the overall quality of the contestants of SRGMP is much much better than other similar shows. So, I dont think SRGMP has completely deteriorated.

In the end, SRGMP or no SRGMP, water will find its own level and cream will always rise to the top.

Don't mourn for Nihira, friends. She HAS been noticed and she WILL go far.

Very well said..& so true..

Not just Nahira..Every1 in this competation r going far away..esp the last 6-7 ppl..coz they were all really good..i m sure all the other Singers in industry noticed them ..& already have some projects ready 4 them..So it does'nt matter if ur favourate contestant leave...u wll c them in other shows & other projects...

Well Said.. u r right if she has won the contest she should hv been bounded to the contact made by ZEE...

look at Abhijeet Sawant, when other participants like Amit Sana, Rahul Saxen n Rahul, prajakat are already singing in movies.. we hardly heard from abhijeet except in shows n one album.. may be now we can hear his voice more after II2 selected.. I even heard that he is yet to get his 1 crore from Sony...

Nihira is still young n longway to go... be glad that she was such a great part of SRGMP and we heard some great music from her.. GOOD LUCK NIHIRA 👏 👏 👏

👏 well said... but i feel most of us r feelin bad bcoz we know in our hearts that nihira is very good. we r feelin bad bcoz of the unfairness of the whole thing. i know that true talent cannot be harnessed...but mayb most of us identify with the situation..where a very talented/meritorious person is superceded by some1 good but less talented..moreover i feel that we all need to vent our feelings(as long as we dont use profanities) someplace... and wot better place than india-forums 😉

so please forgive us and do bear with us
