I was against the voting system from the beginning... this is a very healthy competition and we should go for the best candidate.Remember, we'll have to listen to him/her voice in future, once he/she is selected. Then, it will be useless to say that we selected a wrong one.

I believe saregamapa has degraded itself by adopting this voting path. Even if it had to take this path, it should have been 50% by vote and 50% by judges. Now with this voting system, candidates ( read Hema) are using money to get votes. Himesh R is using some ridiculous and annoying stance (hat, girlfriend etc etc)
to get votes for Vineet. Some are using sympathy factor, religious faith to get votes. Forget about regionalism.

Stop all these nonsense voting system and bring back the old traditional system of judges. Atleast we can say that we did not agree with 2/3 judges. It's hard to believe lakhs of people giving votes for a wrong person. Some of these voters might not even know why they are voting.

Is good that moderation is happening,

It would have been nice when Paresh, and his mil were being attacked that action was taken I mean there were so many topics about him and a particular person started it. His MIL was mentioned over and over again which had nothing to do with the singer. Also manyparesh supporterswere attacked. The whole issue on that went away only when its been speculated that he is not on the show though is not verified. In case paresh is still in I hope that the attacks do not start again!

I hope Sree U act accordingly as said .This section is barely taken care of, even other moderators said the same, but u guys just write a mail n forget abt it.... I really pray u keep ur eyes open n do ur job instd of just saying

Just FYI, the person who opened this site happens to head a very successful company which he runs alone, and still finds time to come up with new ideas for this forum everyday, which incidently is just a hobby which turned big .

Hey all,

Was just browsing through this topic and felt like writing in my 2 cents. I am - for one - a big proponent of free speech and have been guilty myself of freely writing in my opinion.
At the same time I have witnessed and have been at the receiving end of hurtful words 😭 and while we could rationalize that they are just words - as human beings we cannot fail to feel wounded.

Is there a point being made here? No ... just that I can see both sides. I can understand the inflamed passions of the viewers who have become soo emotionally attached to the SRGMP show and the contestants and this is a good forum to spew verbally when we are angry or happy at them!!

So the moderators need to NOT take it personally and chill out a bit.

Moderators - a little abusive spice directed at mentors(or SRGMP contestants) never hurt anyone !!! 😉

At the same time we viewers need to understand the tough job the moderators have in going through so many (well-articulated or even the inane) posts and weeding out the verbally abusive ones. Ugly posts do not hurt only the moderators but others' sensibilties as well. So we as forum participators need to chill out majorly as well and not get personal with the moderators. For the most part they have been very lenient with all of us and not terribly nit-picky.

Forum co-mates - a little respect and a little rationality never hurt anyone !! 😛 😊
