How well do you know Himani

We all like Himani a lot but I did come across a no. of mails where people have voiced opinion about Himani that she carefully selects songs with Punjabi words/sufi genres(like ne mai yaar manana ni/jiya dhadak dhadak/kache dhaage etc).Actually this time it is very hard to prove or disprove whether a particular singer can go out of his/her genre or not, for the simple reason that even when judges were called in earlier rounds singers have been singing from position of strength(totally their genre). There hasn't been anything like judge's choice round where Shiv-Hari could ask someone to sing a ghazal/khayal/thumri/Ashaji's fast songs........

What is your opinion about Himani's voice, out of the choices given above which singer's song she would do most justice with...
I cast my vote in favour of Shamshad Begum (hey thats a big complement): I find a lot of similarity between them like: Shamshadji was very good at slow, soft numbers, usually didn't open voice even at high range, and like Himani had a distinct voice.
Do you know most popular remixes played in disco theq today, like 'saiiya dil me aana re' are Shamshadji's number!
