First beggar: Someone gave me a RM100 note yesterday.

I went to the KL Tower Revolving Restaurant and ordered wine & dinner worth RM 1,000,

and enjoyed the dinner. When the bill came, I said, I had no money.

The manager called the policeman, and handed me over to him.

I gave the RM100 note to the police fellow, and he set me free. Isn't that a wonderful

example of financial management?

But it is quite true there. Everytime on highway they stop and you hve to give them 50 bucks for speeding.

Some countries are even worse.

Even the waiters demand a huge tip and the restaurants/hotels charge exorbitant prices ( Midleeast countries and parts of Isreal etc)

yeah, it happens sometimes in india too! like they Coolies will come at the station and just start taking your stuff to your stop b/c they want money. it's so annoying b/c they walk sooo fast that you cannot keep up with them. i remember my mom set me in charge or keeping up with the coolie, and i ended up tripping down the stair 🤣 he also got startled and stopped so see if i was okay 😆

I see, hope this time when you go to India you dress up in your Nike jogging attire 😆
I think the coolies are better controlled now. They used to be terribly rowdy before. And the taxi drivers in some cases will try to cheat unless you are familiar.
Your handphones will cost a bomb to use especially with roaming n Internet. A Real rip off. Best get a local phone chip.
