Sometimes I wonder, is it the same public that voted our government that is in Power?

The same government that takes bribes and leads our country into the next century?

So what surprise is it that the singing competition has turned out into a modelling competition.

The public decides what cometition it will be and who the winners should be, don't you get the same feeling?

what you said is very true. But everything is money today. Majority of the public is not aware of the basics of music. they only vote for voice and looks. Also now a days they are voting for X-factor.

now being a singer you can't afford to be like an elephant. looks with personality sell....
I believe our indian music industry has become a replica of American music industry. Looks and personality sells...

for ppl nowadays money is everything as it can be ue=sed for anything.being rich has in fact become a symbol of status and power one holds...
so even the show is grt it is a show of money...
