Challengers Seek Your Advice .....

We are all music lovers and want to hear the Best music come out of this competition. So, keeping all your personal candidate preferences aside (tough - but you can do it), if you we were the Chief Mentor and were given the responsibility of giving a ONE LINE advice to each of the challengers left on this SRGMP 2005, what would it be?

Please try to keep it serious and assume that the challengers will read it. You may be surprised to learn that the challengers may be reading what we say here. So please be very constructive and give the best advice you can. Remember, you are the Chief Mentor and you have to give the best advice in one sentance only. I will start to get his format going:

1. Nihira: Show emotion in your songs

2. Debojit: Bring consistency to your performances

3. Hema: Work on your diction by practiicing each word of the song repeatedly

4. Vinit: Focus hard, get serious - do not assume victory

5. Himani: Try to sing the harder songs (2 Octaves, multi-track, etc.)

6. Paresh: Riaz, Riaz, Riaz

7. Ujjaini: Develop confidence - do not let the competitors psyche you out.

Any body else want to offer help ?

1. Nihira: Add emotions to your singing, good singing comes from the heart is heard by the ears and seen by the eyes.

2. Debojit: Jerky movements have effect on your singing, avoid them and always give your 200%.

3. Hema: When you want something way too much, the stress and the effort negatively intervenes with your singing. Loosen up and enjoy singing.

4. Vinit: Don't forget that a singer has his own identity, the singer owns the song and not the other way around... Be dominant on your singing.

5. Himani: Versatile singing is the key to succes, don't play safe.. dare to be... select songs from each and every genre.. explore the talent.

6. Paresh: Again the movements mess up for at least 15 % of your performance. A happy face instead of a tensed stressed out facial expression might help. Think happy thoughts.

7. Ujjaini: Nervousness kills the talent.... be relaxed, try to do some relaxing therapy... And everything will be just fine.

Nihira - Please don't just sing the words in sur....emotions, feelings and expresions.

Debojit- Proper song selection and please be consistent, you have an amazing voice.

Hema- Forget the competition, live one day at a time, pleeez dont let the yellow lites bother you...you do have it in you.

Vinit- Dont be overconfident and dont get carried away by HR's remarks.

Himani- Please try singing different genres, I am sure you can exhibit a lot more variety. Very good voice but choose songs cautiously.

1. Nihira: You need to sing with more feeling..When I see you sing...there is no feel/emotions in your songs.

2. Debojit: Nice and matured voice but need dhamaka in you voice with consistency.

3. Hema: Very nice voice quality, sing more relaxly.

4. Vinit: His voice is still not matured, very nice surs.. but lots of room to improve.

5. Himani: Nice voice, but she can be more versatile in her song selections

6. Paresh: He needs to riaz and practice more.

7. Ujjaini: too much emotional while performing... need to control that.

1.Nihira -> Very Surila Voice, do not get nervous when you get yellow.
2. Deboji -> Matured voice , stop performing dance, concentrate singing
3. Hema -> Very Good voice quality, improve hindi accent
4. Vinit -> Stop playing with beats and topi , concentrate on singing , sing some classical song
5.Himani -> Sing some old soft melodies.
6.Paresh -> improve Hindi, add emotion to singing
7.Ujjaini-> Improve more

1. Nihira: Concentrate on the emotions also rather than tooo much importance on notes. Feel the song and sing it.

2. Debojit: Consistency is the key! Choose songs which will highlight your basic soft voice.

3. Hema: Better song selection.I dont see any issues with diction. Choose songs with earthy tunes.

4. Vinit: Over confidence. practice jumping from high notes to low ones and to hold the tone.

5. Himani: Sing soft romantic numbers and prove yourself there too. Practice high pitches.

6. Paresh: Practice!!! Practice!!! High, low...all sorts of notes. Some Alaap practice wld do good.

7. Ujjaini: You are good!!! You got to believe that and let it show in your performances. Dont let plp bog u down with Black...Move ahead.

Nihira: More emotion
Debo: too much dancing is hurting your singing
hema: appeal to South voters - -you need to play the game
Vinit -- find your own voice
Himani -- diversify if you can pull it off
Paresh -- practice singing more
Ujjaini -- consistency is lacking. don't be so nervous

Hema: select the right song (beautiful voice)
Vinit: don't fall for HR's topi thing...more attention in singing (bright future)
Himani: be more detailed (a genuine singer quality)
Debojit: be consistent in singing
Ujjaini: be more detailed and get over nervousness
Paresh: Start acting in Bollywood😊

Vinit->concentrate on singing and don't alwaysthink of victory as ur guruji.don't be forced by him.

Nihira->sing with a little bit of emotions..

Himani->try more diff. range of songs.

Debu->concentrate more on singing not playing around and performing

Paresh->no more style but good singing

Ujjaini->performances will be ruined by ur simple bit of serviouness.

Hema->don't put too much stress on urself just sing with ur heart and freely
