Yeah that's whatI think too. And this year, people have already seen FOUR singing reality shows. Music Ka Maha Muqabla, then Indian Idol, then SRGMP and Chhote Ustad. People must get bored of listening to the same songs and same judgements.

That's why I can only follow one singing show properly each year.

I think someone may try one that is pure classical or perhaps musical instruments or an India has Talent Show an offer one crore.

Nope, he said afterwards that they didn't, and then he changed his mind again and said that they did... so he did answer my question... twice actually... with 2 different answers

PS. even if they do make a promise in the finale, we won't know if they live up to it or not until a few years down the road, unlike some people who are at over 6 years.

Actually such a show exists. But very few people know about it because it airs on Doordarshan. It is called 'Idea Jalsa' and it is an initiative by Pandit Jasraj. It has great musical content - I'm always looking for its videos online. But it has low ratings because it has little promotion and airs on such a unwatched channel. They even have famous musicians sing classical and semiclassical pieces. Here are some videos for you Summerji, hope you like them:
