^^^ but Didi there are people that understand this music that are also non-punjabis like yourself. These people advocating that Kamal be allowed to sing this style of music despite them being non-punjabis.... I guess it's not possible to make everyone happy.

It's true that understanding the lyrics are important to an extent to enjoy a song, but I feel that "Rooh" is the most important thing.

Exactly to appreciate the song better if we can understand the wordings you can enjoy it ten times more.You understood what I was trying to say.you are a smart person.👏Nothing more..u hit the nail on the head.😃

how many gazals were sung by ranjeet, we listen patiently even when we do not understand many words of urdu and arabic. afterall punjabi is our language and very popular not only in most part of india and worldwide among the masses and even in the films, then whats the problem when kamal khan sings mostly punjabi songs. when rr was allowed to sing gazals most of the time, sugandhha classical based songs, abhilasha simple songs of lata, bishak moderen fast songs, then kk has every right to sing whatever he is comfortable and that may be punjabi. he is my favourite and i love his singing. he is the most versatile and talented singer among the present contestants abhilasha, sugandha and bishak. it looks like sugandhha or kamal are going to be eliminated this coming week. thats not fair. !!!!! lets all the four be kept in final contest.

Punjabi is not our language...there are so many on the forum who can't speak punjabi...what do u mean by saying our language..it is your language.😳

Because RR was singing too many ghazals everyone was complaining in the beginning that it unfair and because of him Sniti got out.In bollywood movies u are talking as if the whole movie is in punjabi..that is not correct.a few dialogues here and there and a few songs interlaced with some punjaghi phrases are there.No one has objection to that.But KK singing most of the time punjabi nos.is not fair to other contestants.All regional singers can come and start singing in there own language as they are comfortable..will you agree?In fact Gujarat is close by and Mumbai being in Maharashtra we should hear more of marathi and gujju songs.Bishak being a bengali can he sing bengali songs and abhi marathi songs.When she participated in marathi srgmp she could have sung only hindi songs as she was not good in marathi...but the judges insisted she shd learn marathi and sing in the language what others are singing.

To prove ones point we can keep on arguing but one should view the suject and the context and be more logical and objective...pl get the point it is not about Punjabhi language or peiople..it is purely about one singing in non hindi as he is comfortable in that language is it FAIR When Mona tried to put forth her point she was abused so badly ..including me ..this itself shows how people skewed the whole topic to a different dimension.It is not abt Kamals singing either.

PEACE and I do not want to argue further.Pl do not move away from the point of contention and bring India and regions and start a war here.We do not want to be abused .
