To people criticizing Himani's singing...

Listen, we are all entitled to our own opinions and have our favourites. But to go as far as to say "Himani's voice suits only strippers and bar dancers..." that is extremely rude and very low class. C'mon people, grow up. Himani is 17 years old, is very talented (whether she is your choice or not, doesn't matter, but she is a good singer), and she's putting herself on the line to perform and compete. Can any one of you who are so quick to judge her and say mean things even dream of getting up on stage and singing in front of millions of viewers, and that too at such a young age?

Each of the contestants that are/were on this show can sing...yes even Rajiv. Some sing better then others, true. We can watch, we can vote (since the system is public voting), we can cheer on our favourites, but to speak ill of someone we don't even know is very inappropriate. If you don't like Himani or any other contestant, fine. But please don't say things like "her voice suits only strippers".

Himani is damn good but she does sound so much like Richa Sharma ( I am not too sure of her name but it is the singer who sang mahi we) and the singers in that category only get to sing a few select songs. The goody goody heriones are supposed to be given play back only by Lata ji and Alka yagnik.
The good thing is that in today's Bollywood scene we do have a lot of scope for the former category as well...
so go Himani go!!!!!!!

I agree that Himani is a good singer. But she is good to certain level only. She can be suited to only those kind of songs which Richa sharma sings. And obviously she sings only to certain range like a category of richa sharma. And Richa sharma is not a regular singer. She is called by music directors only for certain songs. So Himani is of Richa sharma category.

Guess ..........you should'nt have used certain words to Himani. But whatever guess has expressed about Nihira is absolutely right because Nihira can sing any types of songs with perfect sur taal and puting lots of emotions and right kind of expressions in it. As guess said.....I agree that nobody should forget Nihira's
"HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA'S SONG with two octales. This shows that she has absolutely proved herself as a very good and future no 1. singer in the music industry.

NIHIRA IS MUSIC DIRECTOR'S REAL DELIGHT. She can sing Usha uttup, Asha bhosle lata mangeshkar/alka yagnik kind of songs which proves that she is versatile.

So Guys please donot get biased or I am not taking Guess's side. Please consider all this and then pass comments on contestants. So before saying anything to Nihira, consider all this and form your opinions. If you are good at music then you will really know all this things. If you know what is sur taal and octales etc.then you will get to know who is better. No other contestants have got this perfect capabilities which nihira has got it. She is perfect in all this.

Before listening to Nihira, just close your eyes and listen to her, you will change your opinion.

Himani is also a good singer but just to the certain level and she is definitely not comparable to nihira as she doesnot possess capabilities of what nihira is having today.

Sunsha.......I am not forcing you to favour her. Its just that before passing comments on a good singer, you have to consider all the capabilities a singer should have which nihira possess. And obviously if you had a knowledge of music and if you were a good listener then, obviously you would have praised her rather then passing comments.

I fully agree that to critique anyone that harsh would be bad. Himani will find her niche and will do well. All these challengers have no filmi connection at all - all they have is a dream and are living their dream to make it in Bollywood.

Bollywood is a very close knit place. You have to know someone very well or you will never get a break. I know this because I have lived it for so many years - good talent that gets thrown by the wayside because you are not networked.

Zee has offered a window to these challengers into Bollywood. Everyone including Big Producers are watching closely for good talent now. These challengers are all good and we should respect them for trying hard. Realize they work all night for a 2 minute exam - just imagine the pressure ....
