We are so caught up with the programme that we keep forgetting that most of these participants are young kids at heart. They have been thrust in the national limelight and although they try to act all grown ups, there are times when they act their age. I don't blame them...

In the episode where Sharib got ousted, Twinkle broke down and commented that it will be difficult when a participant leaves each week as all of them have bonded so much in the last few months. I always thought Twinkle was a little too arrogant ( no offence intended), but I felt sorry for her that day. I'll always have that image of her.. a tearful face. It was good to see her happy when she got the green light last week.

In last week's episode when Himani got the green light at the expense of Hemachandra, she was jumping with joy with little regard to Hema's discomfiture. She couldn't rein her joy when she was told that she got the highest votes.

I also find that Nihira is uncertain how to handle the accolades of the mentors. Whenever the mentors praise her, she becomes uncomfortable. She doesn't know whether she should be beaming with pride or show a little humility. She knows she is good but she tries to be very grateful of the comments. I find that endearing..

Let them enjoy this phase of life..

True words Piscean! They are kids and endearing as such. But lets not forget that they are getting an enormous amount out of this experience and they are priviledged kids.Sure they are in for some tough criticism both from mentors and audiences..but they all cry when they have to leave...so i guess they can put up with a lot more if they have to, to get their 60 minutes of fame (actually, almost a year of fame!)

Agree with you about Nihira..she does look like a deer caught in headlights whenever she is praised. If you remeber one othe earlier episodes, Daler Mehedi told her watch her "body language" (ridiculous observation I thought!) coz she appeared over confident...guess thats what affecting her now. Her performances are still good...guess thas what counts in the end.

I never understood that statement by Daler Mehedi about Nihira... She never looked arrogant or over-confident to me!!! I was just as surprised as Nihira when I heard that!!! Nihira is just reserved and understated in her demeanor. And yes, I don't think she likes too much attention on herself. As she gains more experience being in the limelight, she will get better at responding to it.
