Why does he sing in such an artificial/consricted way?

I don't think i've heard this song all the way. Although the lyrics requesting to live that lamha again, but song phir se nahi sunana hai.

First time I'm listening to his song. In all honest opinion Himesh sir should stick to composition because he is ONE FABULOUS MUSIC composer. I'm not sure I can say the same about singer, although he's had some nice songs.

Getting down to this song I couldn't connect much with it. From the beginning it wasn't good! I felt like this song required a much more soothing voice. I felt it was a song that required a "mitaas" (sweetness) to it which Himesh sir couldn't bring into the song. I felt he went off in a lot of places. And I couldn't connect with his voice. I don't think he was the right choice for this song because it seemed like a very emotional/senti song which unfort Himesh sir couldn't convey through his voice.

Final Rating: 4/10

Oh I m surprised at the song selection. Kabhi yeh gaana suna hi nahi. Anyway I never rate anyone below 7, so i ll give this performance a 7!

Hmmmm.. haven't heard of this song before..

The voice's nasality is extremely visible esp in the start portion, which is a turn-off.. Though, it does get a little better once the song reaches the middle.. The high notes felt quite strained, they were not fluent.. Expressions are relatively better, matched with the song's lyrics.. Some places are soothingly sung, but overall, the singing was weak..

Would give a 6 out of 10..
