Round 2: Himesh Reshammiya

Note: This song is from Himesh's new movie Kajraare. So definately applies for this recent round theme.

Its a total disaster. Right from the beginning till the end. What really made Himesh even think and do this song? Was he singing or just quivering in the entirety?

The start is a total mess. His accent and singing are a total fake. Whats the need to try higher notes and sound total out of sync with respect to the background tunes, another drawback? The higher he goes, the worse he gets. And things get worse, much wose when that trademark himesh violin is played. It cries enough. It gets too monotonous. And his voice sounded much worse than the previous years. No singing from dil se, just trying to do so for the sake of doing it. The tempo goes haywire in the end....alas, and he goes on shivering and quivering in the second last worse.

The tone too sounds to old school straight from the 80s. Himesh's film is scheduled to be released in 2010 and this type of music? Come on, give me a break. Add to the nails in the coffin is complete flat singing, though the female singer tries hard to match and she does a bit better job. But HR is just plain flat.

The end, too is just forgettable. Why no voice modulation? Why doesn't the song feel that it is ending? It comes, and goes and you wonder when the next verse (worse) part will come in....

A flop show.Nasality at its worst.

yaa his noise singing will be there but the theme is nice soo i think you have selected the nice song.

Why did RA make this guy judge. He is the one of the most biased on IF. Along with a couple of others.

Right from the start

Woh lamha phir se jeena hai

He said this line 3 times to start out the song. He shows his great ability to sing when he says the word "hai", great prolongation on it and just a good display of his ability with harkats he puts on it. Well done.

And then of course, the energy and feel provided after can only be matched by a few singers ever. He really gets into the song. Well after all, he is in the song and acting in it. The feel is definately there.


He lets the girl sing for a while, but comes back with

Meri yaadon mein aana satana tera raat bhar
Meri bechainiyo ko badana tera raat bhar


Strong comeback, and once again full of energy AND talent.
How he plays with his voice is great throughout the song.



Overall, strong singing, excellent feel, and overall brililant.
