INTERNET voting PROBLEM.. What can we do?

Did any of you try voting through the Internet?

Last week I tried voting for a few people, and it seemed to work.

This week I noticed that you can only vote ONCE for one candidate. I tried to vote for two different singers, and the 2^nd time it told me that I had already voted, even though I chose a different name !!!

The people who send SMS are told to vote as many times as they want. They even say that on the Internet.

You can vote as many times as you want to.

In that case, isn't it really UNFAIR that we cannot even vote for TWO singers ONCE ???

I sent an email to the sponsors, but it's still the same !!!

Try closing the website after you have voted once and then reopen it and vote again.
That is what I have been doing . Maybe it will work for you too.

Yes cookie generated for that voting so that no one can use continuosly in the same browser...

So just viote & close teh window & open a new windo & try again....

U can aslo do without closing the window...If u r using Mozilla in edit preferences cookies section there is cookie manager & u can c in sify.com SAREGAMAP_VOTE cookiename & remove that cookie & vote again in that window itself....Thst the 2 ways possible...

In IE browser not supporting this voting too I think....

So vote for ur fav either by deleting cookies in same windo or by closing window & open new window

After voting close the window.... DELETE COOKIES and then vote again. Follow this procedue and you'll be able to.

This is extremely tedious!!! Zee has gone totally berserk like a mad elephant... 😡 On SMS and LANDLINE they want people to vote as many times as they want because they are earning money out of it... and here, since it is free of cost, they are limiting people to as less as possible - not everyone will have the patience to keep deleting cookies!!! Thank Goodness they have all the contestants' names there on the site!!!

I do use Mozilla... Yesterday, when I closed the window, and brought up a new tab window in the same session, it did not work. You really have to close the browser, and reopen it again, and then vote!!

It is kind of tedious, takes a while, and ZEE is trying to make max. $$$ as sc07 said !!

I'll also try the suggestion by sumesh to change the cookie settings for the sify site and see what happens... I have a feeling that may fail, its too easy !!! They're trying to make it hard for us to vote more than once

At least I was able to vote for the singers that I wanted !!!

your feeling is on the spot!! changing cookie settings does not work - it says your browser does not support this facility 😡 i hate the ZEE TV team - but have to bear with them just coz i wanna watch vinit!!

I can understand (not support) their desire to make money...

But why try to RIG the competition by limiting internet voting ?? That's the only way the non-Indian audience can vote !!! They're not loosing any money by letting us vote more than once ??

Its clear, they want to hold on to all the underdogs as long as they can !!!!!
