I just seen her performance. She was fine,,not so great but not bad either. I also dont think she is the weakest contestant. Well this is her only second performance and I dont wanna pass judgement based on two performances. So far she is okay. However as everybody said she should stop this annoying basanti act. That said I m not sure Zee will let her to minize the act from its TRP goat. Yes this years TRP goat is Rini.

Just went through the whole thread. Lots of positives and negatives coming out of it. The problem with rini is not singing per se, but the level of seriousness and maturity shown by her with all that "lambi kahaani" and drama. Its supposed to be a musical show, not a comedy circus ke superstar. If these are zee tricks, why is she concentrating more on it and "trying to answer the so called ques...." rather than concentrating on singing? She becomes serious, yes, but sometimes too bubbly a nature could be irritating to some, if not all.

Rini, get serious. Its a tough competition and dont let these things bother you. Just do riyaaz and concentrate on only one thing-singing.

And to zee SRGMP producers-kindly let this talent show be like a talent show. For comedy, we have comedy circus that comes every now and then. Already enough mockery has been made of SRGMP and this year's standard is just a disaster waiting to be happen, unless you buckle up and tighten up all the weak spots like inconsistent judgement, bland hosting, garish set colour scheme etc...

And I hope that no love triangles or parallovograms are done for the sake of TRPs...people here are mature enough to give a thumbs down. A good, clean and simple musical show is more than enough to get favorable TRPs.

Agree with Sid but do you think contestants could say no to Zee? Even judges ( yah they are paid) are puppets of Zee.
