Did Swananda sound like Ashaji

JL often used to promote Swananda as someone having voice with Ashaji ki khanak, is it true? If so then why the other mentors didn't promise her jobs? Wasn't she a great loss then?
Was she as good in pitching & tone control as Ashaji?
Please enlighten me.

Yes she did sound like her - but she needed lot more practice and all but ya wrongly ousted of the show.

I think that she does sound like a young Asha but needs more practice to be
Asha! Still she is better than others that remain.

I also wondered why she was not offered any songs. Other (non deserving) participants receive songs left and right. J-L never promise a song to anyone. Maybe they don't have any movies on hand. That would be so sad. All the other mentors have offered songs to some contestants.

ya its right that she sounds like AShaji.. may be JL don't have movies offer tahts why they cant offer any one but wht about AS. even he was the first one who said Swanda as Ashaji..why don't he gave a chance to her???

Swananda did have a very sweet voice, and with time and a lil' more practice, could have easily taken after Asha Bhonsle. Bad she was voted out.

JL, I think are not offering songs, because after separation they are not sure what they would be getting. It is a pity to see brothers splitting, especially ones who have been so melodiously creative together. I hope they realise their mistake and come together again.

Oh noI didn't know J-L were splitting. 😭 I hope they join hands again. They have given such great music. Truly someone who could rule the music world like R.D Burman did.
