A serious note.

I always blamed P K mishra who penned Hindi lyric s for Rahman's music as many Tamil movies got dubbed in Hindi eg Humse hai Muqabala, Love Birds, Hindusthani, Thalapathi, My Brother Nikhil, Saza-e-Kalapani, Duniya Dil Walonk, etc.

But a deeper look into his work made me change my opinion. When given liberty this guy wrote some great lyrics like

Bharat humko jaan se pyara hai
Dil hai chota sa

Many at times he was caught in a situation where he could not do good lyrics because there were n o appropriate words.

Rahman was once asked in an interview how do you feel about lyrics like Rukmini Rukmini (Roja), he said he doesn't understand Hindi lyrics.(......😕)

P K mishra passed away some time back in Chennai.

of course from the 90s onwards we heard many bakwaas lyrics in songs...but there are some rare one from back in the day also 😆
