many of them r gonna b dissapointed if hem's gonna b out...but how do they say bfore the show that he is gonna b out and some of them r so sure abt it....anyways
then what does this mean...does this mean that someone already knows abt all this stuff...then whats the big fun of voting...is this show already fixed...if its fixed it clearly shows that vinit is the winner....hr makes it obvious...i dont say that hem is the best of all cos there r some competitors for him too but all i want to say is bfore hem gets out of the show there r some people who deserve to b out of the show bfore hem...hem is not the only best one among the 9 finalists and at the same time he is not the least to be out of the show bfore anyone does....so pls vote for the right talent and dont see the looks andbackground and backgrounds..pls.pls.pls.what do u say??
till then...adios

For all those who feel that it is Janata who has been discriminating against Hemachandra because he is a Southie - I have the following comments to make.

1. Hema Malini, Sridevi and Rekha are South Indians and the most legendary actresses in Bollywood. They have reigned in the hearts of millions and millions of Indians across all territories in India and the globe.

2. AR Rehman, Hariharan, Balasubramaniam are South Indian musicians and have again made a wonderful mark for themselves all across the country.

3. Regarding Yesudas - I can say one thing that he was reasonably pouplar but his popularity could not rise to great heights because of reigning dominance of singers like Kishore Kumar, & Mohd. Rafi in that era. The same thing can be said about female singers of that time who had a tought time competing with Lata and Asha. These 4 singers were considered the golden voices of India. Why south Indian, even any North Indian singer would have found difficult breaking into the industry at that time. By that token Yesudas still did reasonably well.

4. Coming to Hema Chandra. I belong to a North Indian family hailing from the state of UP - but if u read all my posts so far I have been consistenlty putting Hema in the top three which is Nihira, Himani and Hema. If i was to follow regionalism my posts should have favoured Vineet who is from Lucknow, but all my posts about Vineet say - he is a highly overrated singer.

I do not dispute that Janata does pick their favorites sometimes based on regioanalism - but why then single out Hema, there is discrimination against everyone in one form or the other.

The pattern of voting itself is wrong. It undoubtedly encourages regionalism - that's why a non-singer like Rajiv is still there. But look at it this way - the discrimantion is not just solitary to Hema Chandra. All contestants are victims of regional based voting in one form or the other. People are not voting for Hema coz they are busy voting for a person from their own region -this has nothing to do with Hema being a Southie. - There are plenty of people who realize and accept his talent as an undisputed fact.

i agree with you MRSPETLOVER no problem how the product is but the presentation should be good then only it will sell like hot cake... so as hema is a good one but they are not presenting him like the best just displaying him as a substitute!!!

I fully agree with MrsPetLoverUS also because from the start itself Hemachandra has never been put into the limelight. He is constantly put into the spot by some emphasizing time and time again about his accent because of the sheer fact that he is from South India. Why is it that only certain people from the show are given the boost by the media / Saregamapa ?

Racially bias or not the fact remains that Hema is never promoted as the others in the show for whatever reasons.
