People don't realize Himesh was like a fad. He came out with his nasal fast paced songs one after another. It immediately became the youth thing!! It made sense considering we don't get many party/dance type of songs. He wasn't appreciated for his music abilities, he simply rocked the charts.

His music has been always at the top. He makes great compositions. And is known to be one of the finest MDs. At 1 point, almost all of the "Top 10 Music Albums" were from 1 person, and that was Himesh. I've never seen anyone dominate so bad like that.

He is also a sucessful singer, who has won many prestigious SINGING awards. That is SUCCESS. Nothing else needs to be said. He has become as successful singer because not only has he sang many hit songs, but he also has received much acclaim for his singing.

His compositions are excellent but not all..his music in raavan sucked IMO and there are many more of his songs that are not that good..

IMO Himesh Reshammiya is a multi talented man and hats off to him 👏

So has he won international awards, like Rehman???Then how can you say that he is at the top? You can for starts, stop using generalization terms. His composition is quite good, no doubt about that, but his singing🤢🤢

I'm not saying he is as good as AR Rehman 1st of all. Both are successful. Both are legends.

He has won prestigious national singing awards. Much more successful in singing than AR Rehman in fact. Though AR Rehman obviously has edge in composition.
