I think its normal for classical and Gazal singers to make funny faces when they are taking harkets and try apply murkea.😊

I love Ghazals and no its not an old person thing, its about interest...
Hope Ranjit lives upto the standard of ghazal singing ~~~
- this time around it's an interesting blend of music and rightly so, thumri , khyal and bhajan would complete the mix.

The music or gazals has nothing to do with listeners' age. Its our personal interest.
Sometimes its also trend or fashion thing. I remember in our time, in 1983 all young people bent towards Gazals and the credit goes to Pankaj Udass, Anup Jalota and Jagjit singh. I can assure you that time gonna change again and our youngsters will love classical, sufi and gasals again.

Really mesmerizing singing from Ranjeet in the top 18 round. I liked it more because "Chupke Chupke Raat Din'' is one of my most favourite ghazal. Some where I felt it needed more emotions and feel to it in parts. Otherwise, the overall impact of it was beautiful. Ranjeet's voice texture suits ghazal singing, it goes on smoothly. Hoping to see more good surprising performances from his side.

I don't think all classical singers make faces nor do it on purpose 😃
