  The 44-year-old, who struck gold at the box office with his latest outing '3 Idiots' that grossed over Rs.375 crore at the worldwide box office, is already a recipient of the Padma Shri.

  Known as a perfectionist, Aamir began his film career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's 'Yaadon Ki Baraat' (1973) and then featured in 'Madhosh' (1974).

  He made his debut as full-fledged actor in Ketan Mehta's 'Holi' (1984) however, he achieved overnight stardom in 1988 with 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'.

  He followed it up with his first national award winning role in 'Raakh' and successful movies like 'Dil' (1990), 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin' (1991), 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' (1992), 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke' (1993), 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1994) and 'Rangeela' (1995).

  Khan continued to act in just one or two films a year and still does the same. Other hits of Aamir are 'Raja Hindustani', 'Ishq' and critically-acclaimed 'Ghulam', 'Sarfarosh' and 'Earth'.

  In the new millenium, he appeared in hits like Oscar-nominated 'Lagaan'. In the same year he featured in 'Dil Chahta Hai'. After that he took a four year sabbatical and returned with Ketan Mehta's dud 'Mangal Pandey: The Rising'.

  But he hit the bull's eye again with 'Rang De Basanti' and after that blazed a new trail to success with 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Ghajini' and '3 Idiots'.

I'm lucky that my thesis deadline has been extended to next week instead of this week because some students were unable to complete their laboratory project in the allocated time due to the disaster of snow. If my deadline was not extended, i would have failed this thesis. Now that my deadline for the first draft has been extended to next week (Monday). I am here sitting with exactly 72 references to fix and sort in alphabetical order, lowering my plagiarism score from 32% to 15% (Turn-it-in), still to do my abstract and discussion ( so around just over a 1000 words still to write). Still to do content page and fix my formatting of my 32 pages of project. Showing as unauthorized absence at work for Saturday and calling in sick yesterday and today just to finish my thesis and on top complete my online assignments , i seriously think that my MOTW CAN GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Request - Please dont mind my sudden outburst, i am just losing my cool, my mind , my temper whatever you wanna call it. I guess it happens to all students going through such a critical phase! Also feel free to answer your own questions and treat it as your own motw...because the last thing i need, is this.

Anyways, calling it a night - 1am...not getting much done, trying to weigh the advantages and disadvantages in my discussion and outta the 1000 words i still have to write i only managed 76 in the last 2.5 hours.....i guess i am stressed blame me only for this condition - i had six bloomin weeks of winter vacation to get on with it.

Anyways im calling it an early end for MOTW. I might answer the question after Monday once my first draft of thesis has been done and handed in on time ( I hope, * Fingers crossed*). But please treat this as your own motw and feel free to answer any question you like. I am not trying to run away from this, but i just have too much to do and on top i am worried my work might kick me out for not showing up on Saturday and showing sick for the past 2 days in a row. Debt collectors are the nastiest people on this earth, they are so harsh and have no heart.

I apologize for my sudden outburst...i spent the last 10 minutes crying and typing this, i just need sleep now. Good night
