As long as I like the music and it's better than many other composers, why do I have to worry about where it's coming from. The end product for the consumer is good.

Alright Pritam is a cheater and steals songs. Thats despicable when you do not give the original composers due credit. I know artistes are inspired by other musicians and want to give their own spin on it, why not secure the rights honestly and rework it. Then the original artist gets due for their work, and you take the credit for your inspired reworking.

But you know what, at least these lifters and copiers say true to the song somewhat. I get what I expected, I do not feel led on into something I did not expect and have an ugly surprise sprung on me.

You know whats the worst form of cheating? Disgusting, deceit, the old bait and switch trick, promise you gold and serve you crap. Terrible is what Rihanna and TI do to you in 'Live Your Life'. They deceive you into thinking Dragostei Din Tei is back on the charts in the manner DHT brought back Roxette. But what do you get Rihanna whining about living a life. Terrible is what Flo-Rida does to you. You turn up the radio thinking ah good old Eiffel 65, the good times and then your ear drums fall apart with some chick whining about her lips like sugar. She could have easily used the tissue paper after consuming her powdered donut instead of whining on the radio about it. This sort of cheating infuriates me and almost makes me create a pile up on the highway that will infuriate a whole lot of drive time folks. So in comparison, Pritam is a gem.

I just wonder keep changing judges for seperate teams...the judgement would not be fair at all....be the judges good or not....the judge should be the same person if it's a judgement based competition....

anyways...I wish the contestants the best....the show...the judges....erm...no comments lol

Heated debate going on here 😆 To be honest, I don't mind listening to a few of Pritam's songs now and
then. However while there are shortcuts to success, there is no shortcut to Quality and the road lies through dedication. The worst of bollywood music IMO was in the 80s and now. What is remarkable is that, in the 80s bollywood music was dominated by Bappi Lahiri and now by Pritam - both experts at copying. When people gets huge success simply by copying, that has a very negative effect on others. There remains very less motivation for creativity. Also barring a few songs, you won't find copied songs have much of musicality in them. They are hits because they rely more on impact.

wohhh I didn't know this thread got heated up after I threw that post that ignited "forest fire" ...cool....People have so much anger in them against Pritam's music ....including his looks( which at times is scary oops hairy )😉 .......
