Ustad Rashid Khan is one of the better singers of this era. After going through so many reality shows, which contestant do you think can fill in his shoes in the future?

Here are two of my favourites of his

1. Prabhu awan ki (The uploader has got an interesting collection of videos.)

2. Aaoge Jab Tum O Saajana

Awesome.

It's somewhat intriguing that quite often the best renditions of Meera bhajans -- intensely "Hindu" songs -- are by Muslim singers. I don't really want to go off-topic, but here is another example of what I mean:

As for Muslims singing Hindu songs, India has always been the land of assimilation. You can check out the following poem by Rabindranath Tagore 😊 English translation is at the bottom

I just went back to watch this episode. Yashodhan sang very well. Even Shan was showing he liked the song. But at the end he eliminated Yashodhan.
I could not see any justification to this. Also I found Alka was very shallow that day.

Awesome 👏 Thanks a lot. This song by Ustadji shows exactly why he is among the topmost classical singers in India today. Upcoming classical singers like Parthiv and others can all learn a lot from him. He is simply amazing 👏Loved it a lot.
