Anyway, this was bound to happen if HR was given a chance, we know the choice that HR does, by seeing the number of contestant left behind in his gharana. He got fair enough chance to chose good contestant in his gharana but he failed to do so, so how can he do it now.

Even I think Niladri and Vishwas (and perhaps even Abhijeet) were better choices than the people HR called back. Amongst the girls, he knew that Vineeta was sick so kind of acted politically correct, and first asked Vineeta to come (trying to show that he is fair) but he knew that ID will eventually call Joyeeta!! In boys, he knew that there were better choices around and so he never took a chance and called back 2 of his boys leaving the more talented behind! Vishwas and Niladri truely truely deserved to be in the finals!

Vishwas and Rajeev were out in prelim. round .. or in Rohan's language were "loosers"... and were called back as stand by candidates during Gharana selection. Was that also a pathetic idea Rohan? insult to judges?

I wonder why HR did not call Vishwas in Brahmastra round.Initially he had liked his voice a lot.Dilshad is good too,but I prefer Viswas..he has a nice clear voice.
Anyway that is all history now.
Himani and Hemchandra will definietly move to the next round.Hemchandra's singing has been good all along.Himani has been good too excepr her Rangeel Re..
Both of them ought to make it to the last three

Vishwas is a very strong contender and HR wanted things to be easier for Aishwarya to come back.. But I think, even after all these tricks, Paresh's popularity will still beat Aishwarya.. The only issue will be - Vishwas is a much better singer than Paresh, but will have to sit out!

It is all about politics people. 2 girls from JL's gharana means votes will be split. Hence chances of third girl moving ahead are more. As for Aishwarya, HR thinks far ahead. He called all the contestants who will not create much of a roadblock for Vineet. None of the contestants impressed me much, though Paresh was the pick among all. Like they say, andhoo me kana raja.

Balancing the gharana count might appear like an injustice to the deserving participants. Still, i feel vishwas, niladri , abhijeet have got enough exposure in this contest. They are good, hope they get their breaks sometime soon.
As far as brahmastra round is concerned, IMO the boys did perform quite well. All the three were good, Aishwarya did show display a lot of improvement and maturity in his singing ( hope he had been sensible in his get-up too ;). paresh was energetic and good in the salman song. hope he is careful abt basics in future. dilshad too was great in that difficult song, but I feel his voice is somewhat old-fashioned.On the other hand the girls, i felt, didn't perform as per their capability, they could do better.
in a nutshell, boys justified HR's decision. girls didn't give their best shot, may be they were over-whelmed with salman's presence.... that's my opinion only.

First I was very happy to understand HR's choice of contestants for Brahmastra round. He very well explained to everyone. I can understand there were better male singers which were not brought back but those singers had lost to another singer who had sang better on that particular day. The male singers who were voted in had some sort of injustice done to them. I felt HR was pretty honest in his explanation about it & it made sense to me atleast. I think he tried to balance all 4 gharanas by picking the candidates.
I myself just watched the Brahmastra episode in US & I felt Aishwarya sang well, had no breathing problem & also knew how to hold the mike. On first day's performance I felt Dilshad does need to work on his breathing. He did the best he could with the song since it is not his jonor song. Sanchali & Ujjaini were good. Paresh & Joyeeta were OK. I felt they all should have picked some powerful songs that could leave big impression on people's mind for this important round. Song selection was poor which I felt. I could be wrong.

On Brahmastra 2 I thought Aishwarya & Dilshad sang wonderfully. Paresh was good. In my opinion girls were just OK. Nothing to write home about. I think they were all goo goo gaa gaa over Salman. That is natural. I just found out today that Paresh & Ujjaini has won Brahmastra round & they will be going to Rock Gharana. Good luck to all contestants & may the best singer win.
My Opinion only.

I respect your Opinion, but is it justice to bring those singer back who were not as good as other, just because they faced an injustice initially. Now is he not doing injustice to those good deserving singers ?

Totally agree... I think HR should have given Vishwas and Niladri a fair chance.. and anyways, now if the Brahmastra candidates go back to HR becoz of some odd rules.. he would have only gained to call back the best of the singers..... Paresh won mainly becoz he is a good looking NRI that weighed more than his talent!

If HR would have called back Vishwas, he would have given a tough fight to Sharib, Hemchandra etc and that would have been advantage for HR only!

I think its not fair to leave it for the audience to choose the best in Agnipariksha round. If you look at the history of public voting in such shows (FG, II), looks is the only criteria most of the people go for. I really feel sorry for the SRGMP show. They are doing this just to gain popularity. The purpose of the show has completely taken the back seat now.
I think, good singers like Swananda, Nihira may get eliminated earlier than Twinkle, Ujjaini & Himani, if public poll is to decide the fate of the singers. In the boys too, Paresh may continue his dream run to reach top 3!
It would have been nicer, had they formed a panel of judges & jury to decide winners (anyone remember Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj?)
