UPDATE! - Y there was NO Public Voting for WC!

So my source tells me.....

The girl selected "Shristi" is from Delhi and so Yashodhan was not selected as they did not want to have 2 contestants from delhli, just to keep the competition fair! (Whatever!)🤢

The reason there was no public voting for wild card was due to the fact some of the new contestants's parents objected to that. They said, Priyanka and Hemant are already popular and will win due to public voting and that wont be fair to our children, hence the wild card was judged by Suresh Wadekar and Jatin.

I have known this from the beginnig of the competition of Lil champs 2009, but was not able to disclose it without taking a consent from my source.

Did you guys know....

Abhijeet told the contestants were not to sing songs that were too classical. His said something along these lines...

"sweets are good, but too much sweet is not good for one's taste" hence don't sing too many classical based song as it's good but too much of classical songs is not fun to one's ear!😲

He insisted the contestants sing romantic songs and fast numbers. Also he told them, do not sing any songs by sung by pakistani singers. (hmmm this brings a question to my mind...how did he pick Abhijeet, coz Abhijeet sung Saanwaare in audition) - double standards!

He also wants contestants to sing more of 70's and 80's song, as opposed to 60's. Hmmm wonder why!😕

That's weird. How can they even think of not bringing Yashodhan back to the show? I don't get the purpose of wild card entry. Isn't it supposed to give a second chance to the eliminated contestants? Or is it just an excuse to rope in new kids? "confused"
Abhijeet thinks that classical songs are boring? Well, too much of anything gets tedious! Not just classical songs! I prefer a mixed bag.
He's got serious issues to not like Pakistani singers. Freakin ethnocentric moron!!! Pakistani singers ROCK and so do indian singers!!!! Jeez!

Exactly...I mean the fact Yashodhan got selected and the stand by contestants were not selected tells me yashodhan had impressed the judges more! - So how is that he is not brought back!!

Abhijeet's a jerk, and there's no more to it. I had such high hopes for Yashodan and Priyanka to return I completely agree that Abhijit is a jerk. A few years back he said the same thing about a contestant Abhrakanti.

But the wc contestants were chosen by Sureshji and Jatinji and not by Abhijit.

So how are we going to justify that?

Now, Abhijeet is a jerk regardless of who gets the wildcard entry. He's just a bigger one for putting all those limitations on the kids' song selections.

And if you're going to try to take Abhijeet's side, then I'll just tell you right now that I'm not in the mood. And if we keep going with this, then I'll have to resort to the devil's language.

Abhijheet is so annoying and ur post makes me 😡 at abhijheet talk about a control freak

and as for not singing any songs by pakistani artists 😕 coz we know he hates modern pakistani artists yet let abhijheet thru, there are plenty of great musicians in pakistan so there was no need to restrict the contestants from singing pakistani songs and for that matter songs from the 60's 😡

but i guess its all about making money and trps even when considering WC

Not singing too classical songs shows the ability of Abhijeets taste and chocie in music....He chose a genre of songs because that genre suits his voice and then he can say how he can sing it better...I don't think Abhijeet can judge a full on claasical piece...
