Yea OBJ challenge 2009 was not good at all. I think pritam was very lame😆, and the contestants were's that good.

Sunvinder, Naina, Anupama (I think she just went unnoticed), etc all good. But yeah, good just doesn't suffice. They have to be able to make sound effects *cough, cough*, have a sob story, lots of drama, etc to make it in at least the top 6 or be brought back as a wild card

Yes, a bunch of good ones were eliminated prematurely and never brought back in the WC round... The winners from SRGMP 2008 USA show - Darshana and Jeffrey were very good, though they didnt get a chance to display their talent very well. Instead of Asma, one of them should have been in the top 14. Then Arshad and Sayon are two who could have pulled in viewers and votes with ease and Zee didnt have to worry about TRPs!! But they were not even invited to the WC round!!

Manisha was very good and deserved to be in top ten and yet got eliminated and again in the WC round, she became the sacrificed goat for Asma!! Though Naina and Mitika maintained to get into top 14, they were the first ones to be cut!!! I was shocked to see that - if they were average, I wouldnt have mind, but they were more than average singers... Anupama is one I wished to be in top 14 and it was sad to see her eliminated... Then from the top 14, Kaushik is another one who got eliminated too soon...

@Guru and OBJ, Soumen wasnt that bad - he was very good with classical and sufi songs. Just because his face is like that, it doesnt make his voice bad... I didnt like Zaheer - no offense, he was kinda nasal.. I liked Shujat from the four Pakistani singers - he had the voice and the stage presence. By all means, Sara was 100 times better than Asma! Please Bazy, I dont hate Asma the person, but I cannot tolerate her singing! Sorry!! 🤗

shujat was terrible, so was sara, so was asma, so was debolisp 😆

oh how could i have missed this topic.

i personally liked saregamapa 2009 as u all know coz that was first one i watched properly. the only contestants i wud have liked to be in top 14 instead of soumen and depalli were either jeffrey, darshana or sunwinder rest were fine.

As far as Asma goes i think most of u know what a supporter i am of hers.

Go Asma 😆 hope she has a wonderful career ahead of her whether it be hosting, acting or singing she certainly has the personality for all 3 😃
