Hi Friends,

Since many days, I have been wondering about this and thought why not open a topic to know everyone else's pov too....😊

So Talking about Little Champ 09, we have seen sp,e really unfair eliminations so far in name of the TRP , few kids are getting ahead in the name of cuteness, bindaas factor, age factor , dance factor.........and really talented kids ( singing wise ) got out too early, undeservingly.....

Do people really like to see those things in a singing competeion ????
But dont we have - Kids dance show / Kids comedy shows for same ?? Why bringing up and focusing on those in a SINGING competetion ???

And I wonder does below average singing increase TRP of a singing reality show ??? how ?? beats me....... I really miss old Sa Re Ga Ma days where true talent always won !!

Please share your views too.....

I agree with you, Nishi. I thought LC show is out of all the major TRP stunts seeing the talented Anamika win last season... Last time they didnt get Sonu and Sureshji to play along for the drama, I think, so they got the big drama judges this time! I understand stage presence is important for singing on stage, but the winner is not going to do that - maybe later in life they would make a career out of it, but then they can do that whether they win or not, and whether they have the stage presence or not!!

I really think that they are keeping Shalini the same way they managed to save Rakhi in DID - since they know that she wont return through the WC round - wont get votes like others... So once the voting begins after the WC round, I hope she would be the first to go... Else it wont make any sense!!!

Someone that can dance, extreme looks, Hilirious personality, young, good built, everything but not sur and taal, who cares about sur and tal? If you have all the above then ghazab hua rama.. Someone is bound to switch the tv on just to stare at the singer...šŸ˜...and who cares how they sound, just put wax in your ears stare at beauty standing on the stage..and your dil would sing saregama. šŸ˜†...Results? Bekar singers but number 1 TRP materials!

Nishita the fact is no matter how much u want a music show to be a music show, that is no longer enough the audience want to see personality as well even if that means excepting below par singers that have personality over really good singers that have very little or no personality fact is good singing plus personality increase trps good singing can't do that alone not any longer anyway where we have a raft of reality shows its all about competition and channels out doing each other. simple as that thats my pov anyway

I look for drama. Lots and lots of drama. Real drama. Fake Drama. TV drama. Forum drama. Every once in a while, I look for quality singing and entertainment, but end up banging my head on a wall. So I keep it simple and enjoy the drama.

I look for three things - good looks, good looks, and good looks.

Ok well, joking of course. But I really don't know what else to look for besides singing. And since apparently that's too much to ask for, I've stopped looking.

Well, of course singing coz it's a singing competition. But I'd prefer someone who sings well as well as looks cute and has a charming personality to someone who can just sing and nothing else.
