The much awaited musical reality show Saregamapa little champs kicked off with a great start gaining huge TRP for the channel. Unlike the previous season,

Saregamapa lil Champs Judges

this time little champs has a different theme of Boys Vs Girls. One of the oldest concepts presented in the form of music added cherry on the cake for all music lovers. Adding to the concept of Pink Vs Blue, the nok-jhok between Alka and Abhijeet is something we have witnessed in many reality shows. This jodi has some beautiful duets named after them and who other than them could be the best to judge these kids? Sweet voices, best judges, music surrounding the sets, cute hosts - Is it all enough to keep the viewers intact? Only time can answer'

The Judges ' Playing the role of both mentor and judge, Alka and Abhijeet have been doing a pretty good job giving tips to their contestants. Even the concept of celebrity judge to bring in a neutral factor to judging seems to be a good idea. But still the judgment seems to be relying upon the TRP garnering techniques. Elimination of Farah Naaz in this week's episode was little unfair. During the final audition round, judges mentioned about performing a balanced act between music and ex-factor but what do judges have to say about the performance of Shalini which is incorporated only with style? All said and done, the chemistry between Alka and Abhijeet is a real fun to watch.

The Contestants ' This time around the contestants are bundle of talent excelling in one performance after the other. Initially viewers were skeptical about the choices made by the judge's panel consisting of stalwarts like Suresh Wadekar, Jatin Pandit and Usha Utup, but the first studio performance by the selected contestants made everyone's mouth wide open leaving us to question if we were watching kids show or stage performance by professionals. But as time passed by, performances have declined leaving us with a hope to hear some better performances.

Saregamapa Lil Champs Hosts

Hosts ' Monitors playing the role of hosts is an entirely new concept in any reality show and the cute talks between Afsha and Dhairya is the highlight of this show. In a short time and at such a young age, two of them have managed to capture the hearts of viewers. But wish the bak bak machine is trained a little more to take over the charge.

TRP strikes again ' The creatives already seem to be using various TRP garnering techniques to keep the viewers hook to the show. One can clearly see the repeat of little champs 2007 second runners-up, Tanmay's Ads in Swarit's so called cute acts. So, do we expect Swarit to go far in the contest? Well creatives, try to be more innovative as viewers are now bored watching the same game being played again and again'

Suggestions for creatives:

How about having a musically inclined host accompanied by the current hosts who will continue acting as monitors of their team? This would not only add fun factor but also keep the music intact.

Try following one particular theme in every episode so as to judge the contestants in various genres and aspects.
