Comparing Sonu and Aneek is not wise at all.

Singing a song which has already been sung is something easy but to make a mark and catching the ears of music lovers with a new song is quite difficult.

There were many good singers from earlier contests but they did not get opportunities to sing for bollywood so they just became stage show singers.Some of the winners even did not get a single song in bollywood.

Yes these shows makes the lives of the contestents prosperous but being a successfull singer in bollywood is not easy.

Well, sonu nigam sang main agar kahoon pretty badly with his overdoing the expressions and his over sweet vocals and his so called large vocal "range" which he or his fans(im not sure lol)claim to have. And to sing it better than the original is an achievement, as it is not done often.

And tumhaare zulf ke saaye mein has been sung by rafi so both aneek and sonu are singing rafis song. so comparison can be made.

And finally, please explain the odity that a long time back, Sonu Nigam was called a struggler by many because all he was doing was singing Mohd Rafi covers and hosting a musical show... But then he rose to legendary status after all his hard work and determination... But even Sonu was called a struggler by some at one point... Remember success doesn't come overnight..

I think status of a person ("legendary" vs "struggler" should not stop people from voicing an opinion about which rendition of a song they like, we are comparing their merrit based on what we hear only...
