Yes CC ji ....Anwesha leaves that wow effect even after i year 2 months since chhote ustaad got over ...example is ur 3 yr old ..who is above these biases , regionalism et al .... of course i give credit to her mom too who seems to have an excellent taste in music😃.... Anwesha has earned that respect and that faithfulness from her fans all over the world ...her fan club in orkut has fans pouring in from all corners of the world ....it's so heart warming to see people still reminiscing about her performances and don't forget to check out what's going on with her life ....

This girl is no ordinary girl ...and many people from 3 ( ur kid is an example ) to 90 remember her musical genius of cu days and after ..By the way, she shifted her base to Mumbai along with her parents ..and if u happen to be near san hose or san francisco ..do check her out during 4th of july weekend....This child prodigy is definitely going to be a name to reckon with in future ....and all of us Anu fans will be proud that we recognised this bundle of talent long time ago 😊

Frankly good voices are rare. Look at Kumar Sanu collect so many awards I wonder

😆....omg !!!! ..... bollywood mein aajkal awards ki baarish ho rahi hai ...so it's not a surprise that some will be found "under the table" 😆.sp in kumar sanu's room...😆

I have no idea who anwesha is, i only watch one Indian show and thats anything that comes around 7.30 during the weekend - and yes i have seen a few episodes of Agle janam

I heard her mayya mayya on google, its err..fine i guess...i like Anamika's version more though -

ps thats me judging her from just one performance so i can be totally wrong/misleaded etc.

Mauli's Maiya is one of De Bestest.

I think Yashita too can do it well.

I want to hear Anwesha sing serious numbers that is what I like about her.

OBJ could immitate Kumar Sanu pretty well. Will ask Papu and Champa to investigate under the table deals.😆

Let's put some music 1st ..I agree with ROA that Mauli has created history among her fans with Mayya Mayya but when i heard AR rahman's version in Guru i was surprised to hear the song to be soo subdued..no straining vocal chords ..no unnecessary screaming ..such a smooth song with those arabic turkish tinge ..Listen to Anwesha and u will get that ..with due respect to all who sang this song Anwesha's Mayya Mayya at an age 13 was closest u can get to the original IMHO ....just close ur eyes and listen to this girls voice and the melody.. those little nuances ..subtleties ....if u have heard the original song u will know what i am talking about ...but i'll say it's not her one of the best ...but i am a biased fan and i loved it ...
