nah, it was probably that cricket can't be played it pakistan given the current situation there, thats why they can't host 2011 cricket world cup and all pakistans home series are gonna be staged in neutral venues most likely in dubai, england or scotland, there far from being banned, also pakistan players have to advised not to play in IPL given what happened in india
