I just watched the 3rd round (2nd part ) of SRGMP and was shocked to see the reaction of Lalit when Sanchali was given the red card. In the solo round Sanchali and Himani both sung extremely well but in the duet round himani was better than sanchali. I think the reason Lalit lost his control was because both of his contestants got knocked over. My point is that if judges are invited to judge a program then mentors have no right to criticize their decision because if they dont wana respect their decision then their no need for judges and only Jatin-Lalit can decide whoz good and whoz not.

If the comments from Jatin wernt ridiculous enough , they went up to the Judges Kumar sanu and Khyaam to " justify " the decisions that the judges have taken. It rememebered me of my grade 4 class where i would fight with my teacher for an extra mark. These mentors are very highly respected among the music industry but to to see such a childish act from Jatin-Lalit duo was extremely disappointing. Letz hope in the coming round of " Chakravyuh" and the " Agnipariksha " we see more respect for the judges.

Couldn't agree more, I too had similar thoughts. It almost reminded me of my childhood when my mom used to take us(me and my sisters) for singing competitions and there was a friend's mom who would always fight with the judges if her daughter didn't win the first place.

Anyways let's hope that J-L remain calm in the next round. Everybody complains about how rude Ismail darbaar is, lately I feel Jatin-lalit are the rudest, their comments sometimes is very demoralizing for the participants.

i was totally surprised...seeing their reaction...even though i read priti's update.....but it was weird.....i dont know how they do such stuff......but it was bad to talk to the judges like that....then what's the point of having judges afterall....
ismail darbar was real sweet in this round...when he was talking about sanchali's performance....
it ended on a ugly note with lalit arguing about the judges decision....

why do the mentors fight. they are the ultimate judges as it is they who will give break to whomever they wish to. so enjoy man.

i think some of them are taking this very personally- JL were very disappointed as they were banking a lot on Sanchali and Abhijeet from the very beginning. They could not fight for Abhijeet because debojit was certainly better- on sanchali since everybody had praised her to the skies ( i was not very impressed with her first round performance- i thought she was very nasal), they were hopeful. Their hopes are now pinned on Swananda and sharib (who has very little chance as he is against Debojit, Sharib).

They see it as a personal defeat. It makes them look bad in INDUSTRY. They are deemed as losers and in the business of showbiz, if you are a loser, you are deemed second grade. We do not know industry people and this is our first interaction with them so up, close and personal. Now we know how they act in person. As such none of them deserve kudos, Aadesh cribs, JL fight, HR whines and ID is also a fighter. This is the way they are. They are not saints and even educated people act like morons many times. It has nothing to do with education or stature. It is a filth industry remember? Elder and wellknown judges and music industry stalwarts led a disciplined life under gurus. That is why they are so modest. These mentors are ad hoc ones and though there music is good they may not be as good in real life. Remember killer Nadeem?

Yeah......I totally agree. The mentors always feel that their shishyas did a better job and in the name of constructive criticism, some of them have passed very demoralizing remarks about contestants belonging to a different gharana! They also seem to have double-standards .. one episode that comes to my mind was when Abhijeet was given a green based on his potential, rather than his performance, and both JL and AS said that the judges decision is final and that everybody has to accept it.These were the same guys who were fighting in the last two episodes when Himani was not given green in the first round and when Abhijeet and Sanchali didn't make the cut! I think Mr. Gajendra Singh's idea of letting the mentors give their opinion about a performance was a very bad one... since they are so full of themselves and do not respect the judgement of their seniors like Khayyam sab who probably has a much deeper knowledge about music! They really are a disrespectful lot!

I do not agree with the elimination decision of Abhijit and especially Sanchali. Actually the fact is the judges (K Sanu and Khayyam ji) gave the wrong decisions on the very first day when they gave the green cards to Twinkle and Rajeev, none of them deserved to go through based on that day's performance and indeed Himani and Debojit performed best among others on that day and unfortunately got the yellow card. But on the next day, they both got the price of their old performance and Abhijit and Sanchali, who performed outstandingly got an elimination. What the bad judgements made by Khayyam and Sanu on both days? Sanchali shocked everyone by her excellent performance hence Lalit had lot more reasons to outburst on the poor decisions. I appreciate the judges like (Daler, Pt Jasraj, Pt Chaurasia, Pt sharma).
