i dont like the tu hi meri dost hai singer

his voice is too weak..

the tune is nice, but it sounds like he's putting too much effort..

arr is rotten in singer selection.. if kk or shaan sang it it would be superb..

dunno why he usually takes anglo indians and tamilians to sing hindi songs.. oh sure, he uses shreya, udit and sonu too, but he doesn't use the proper singers enough..

His name is Benny Dayal. Geez Joe, you could at least have googled that. At least you didn't mistake him with Javed Ali. 😆

Anyways, I agree --- I'm not a big fan of his voice quality.
The song is nice though.

i like the tune too.. but the singer i dont..

YES!!!! i love that song...my fav song of the year i must say!!!!....and i agree...KK or Shaan would have sung it far better than this new Benny guy!!!!

Have you heard Behka(Ghajini)? It was sung by Kartik, a Tamil singer. I don't think any other singer could have sung it better....
and Tu meri dost song is really nice and the voice is different and soothing....😊

i'm not sayg ALL tamilian singers are bad, its just that their pronunciation is a bit shaky and their style is lame compared to the northies..

Same here. I enjoy singing the song cuz I love the composition but I hate listening to it cuz Benny Dayal has horrible pronunciation and no brightness to his voice. KK or Sonu would be my pick for the song. But I like forwarding to the part of the song where Shreya enters...she's just superb. Also Sumedha and Soumen sang it beautifully on SRGMP.

I also dislike Rashid Ali from JTYJN songs for the same reasons. ARR had such good singer selection back in the 90s with Taal and Dil Se and stuff.
