ye singing is not shouting n shouting is not singing, but there should be some energy to the song. that mood should be created, but pratibha was unsucessful in that.
I agree with shankar's reasoning, that it can be made better by technology, and yours that a girl can't sing like a boy, but even her attempt was very bad.

They are the most versatile singers in the competition. Vaishali is growing in verstaility. She can sing Satyam Shivam Sundaram soulfully and at the same time excel in a peppy song like that duet with Debojit. What Yashita songs is the versatility. I can't imagine her singing a song like Satyam Shivam Sundaram as well as Vaishali. Well, she will ofcourse sing with sur-tal and will be technically correct, but I don't think she can bring in the same feel as Vaishali did.

The only good one I remember from Pratibha was "tare hain barati", may be near flawless. She is a good singer obviously to reach top 5, but sorry I don't see her ahead of or at par with Vaishali. These singers have reached top 5, they will obviously be in proper sur-taal. What so special about it?

Vaishali's effortless singing has great edge over everybody including Pratibha. I have gone back and listened to Vaishali's songs again and again. I only did once with Pratibha's song ..the "Namak" one..
