As to the versatile Rafi Sahab, there hardly is any so all rounded and versatile with such a lovely voice (I think).

yup rafi sang all types of songs:
qawwalis
bhajans
melodious ones
romantic
sad
high pitch
low pitch
comedy
happy
ghazals
extreme high + extreme low (listen to o duniya ke rakhwaale)

kumar sanu ,babul supriyo, abhijeet, harshit saxena are kishore clones....
how would they get the same level of admiration when they are nasal or weak copies??

kishore da had richness in his voice.. only babul's voice is rich enough..

Yes it's true that it is really hard to find kishore or rafi. But we do have singers of our generation as well who will be considered as legend after 20 to 30 years down the line. I am talking about Sonu Nigam. He is on the way to become a legend.

Hiraji nothing to be sorry about. So you are trained in classical singing. That is very good and I am glad. Keep it up.

There will NEVER be another Kishore Kumar, Lata or Asha eveeeeereeeeer. Back then you had singers who were passionate about singing. Nowdays, you have besure singers like Atif Aslam who know NOTHING about singing. Now a days, most of the new age songs are being made to be made.
