I am waiting to see what treatment (punishment) the iraqi govt. will be meting out for this journalist. That would tell us a lot about how "democratic" that country has become or not become.

Just for records, I feel throwing the shoes was not only stupid but low as well. You lose the high moral ground the moment you indulge in such cheap tactics. Bush did free iraqi people from saddam - that journo shd have remembered that at least.

How the war turned out was not entirely in Bush's hands. Bush did not ask iraqis to keep on squabbling amongst themselves based on tribes and sects and what not! If iraqis had used their brains better and controlled their own people by putting their idiotic differences aside for the greater good of the country rather than depending on americans, the situation there would have improved sooner with lesser tragedies on both sides. The shoe throwing act of this one deranged person is 🤢

That was the most foolish act i have ever seen someone doing!!!! It's unbelievable how that guy threw shoes at Bush...hadn't Bush dodged it, he would have got seriously hurt and that would have taken another turn in the War in Iraq!!!!!
