But that's so cruel, to play with his feelings like that. I am sure his parents will stand by him and help him come out of it...

Akanna, no doubt the Simran part was scripted. They brought him here only raise TRP's. To keep him alive forthe reason he's been always over hyped (Unusual) by the judges. Even the whole Zee team didn't have any intention first to took Asma so far. Even she eliminated almost at the beginning. But those 2 episodes were enough for the whole team to realize people will definitely eat the show ferociously by Asma's these sorts of acts. Even the name and the story behind the film, "Mere Uutko Danda Kisne Mara" was scripted by the team. This time, Asma & Debo are two of their main trump cards to raise TRP's. A never ending story.

the chosen one agrees wid u. the king observed some difference in debo's body language which was not normal. for instance the way he stands. his parents need special mention here. as they guided well n 2day he is on such a platform where he has an opportunity 2 fulfill his dream. the simran part was scripted n even pritam himself said tht there was no simran in debo's life. the chosen one believes god alwayz chooses sum1 4 every person so debo will also have sum1. its juzz a matter of time b4 he meets her.

the bottomline the king draws is tht debo has a strong personality.

People with disabilities have every right to live and lead a normal life and compete with the so called normal ( huh, wonder how normal they are with their sick thinking.. they look more dsabled to me than Debo) beings.

Well said, Surkilla. I agree with you 200%. As a school kid in India, I also thought disability is something to laugh about though thank God, I never did that in front of a real disabled person - I would have killed myself with guilt now if I ever had done it even as an immature kid. I remember the day when I got angry with some Australian disabled peope watching the India vs Australia game at MCG and cheering up for the Australian team (India lost in that game), and my aunt told me, 'they have every right as we have - to enjoy and support the team of their choice'. I realized how dumb my reaction was towards their excitement. After interacting with different kinds of people - from different races, religions, disabilities, today I know how precious their lives are to their loved ones - the same way we are for our loved ones and our kids are for us...

Yes, probably the Simran part was scripted - but was Zee behind the whole scheme or was it from someone else's head, I wonder. It was a pretty cruel game, I gotta say, what they did for the sake of TRPs. I remember how he believed when Yashita pretended to be Simran calling from Calcutta... HR jumped in on time to reveal it and save him. Maybe the script writers put into his head that a girl called Simran calls from Calcutta and asks about him and all that... Whatever it is, that was a bad thing to do... Despite his disability, he also has dreams and he isnt aware that he isnt a gal-puller -- that's one con about his disability... They are not fully aware of emotions and true feelings of others towards them or anyone else...

Thank you, King Maurya. You are right - "Marriages are made in heaven". 😃
I have immense respect for his parents as they have never tried to do drama like some other parents have done and do. They acknowledged Pritam's explanation on the day when all others ganged up against Debo and Pritam, and mentioned that they have taken him to several doctors in India and abroad, but he is born like that and so when he expressed interest in music, they did everything for him to pursue it. Wonderful parents, I must say - he is so fortunate to have them. To this day, they stand by him and his mom is always there beside him to provide all the support he needs....

the irony here is tht both his parents r scientists. so afterall genes does not work everwhere it seems. seeing debo's mother always there 2 support him reminds the king of his mother although he din pick up her calls 2day is another matter. although debo as this disorder he is gifted wid music.

ps: yeah marriages r made in heaven but after the marriage its hell 4 men😉

the bottomline the king draws is tht whn god closes a door he always opens another.

I for some reason could never laugh over it may be when I was very little a distant uncle came to live with us for a few weeks and told us a sad sad story.. I will not go into details as this forum is not meant for that but that story ingrained in my mind since then...
We had a disabled person in early elementary with a tumor who worked so hard to compete with us and later died during a surgery.. and we school frens still have memories of that person.
Until now I didn't know he (Debo) is autistic and have still enjoyed his singing and liked him as a contestant. Zee might be using him for TRPs as it definitely works on people like me. For others as Pritam said don't vote for sympathy only if he deserves.

Yes, apparently several forms of behavioral autism exist in children who are born to very intelligent parents. It's a common scenario, and that explains why the number of autistic kids have gone up in the past decade - with both parents being in IT or Accounting or Engineering or the like, the chances of the disability for their children have gone up. Along with that, when both parents are busy with their professions, kids are kind of left alone with no one to play or talk with - most families are micro families now and have just one kid these days whereas in older days, there were several siblings in the same age group plus the mother tend to be less educated often and hence stayed home. It's something to do with excess IQ genes probably... 😕
Hey, marriages are made in heaven but it becomes hell for everyone in it and everyone around them after marriage!! That's the truth!!! ha ha!!! 😉
You are very optimistic! That's a great character for anyone!! 👏

Harshit fine, but if you compare him to Ishmeet --- I prefer Harshit. Though Harshit is not one of favs at all.
Amit Paul --- No way, that man is heaven on earth. Nasal -- I don't think so. His voice is so beautiful. Did you ever watch his Nasha yeh pyar ka Nasha performance? Its still ringing in my ears from II3! I know you weren't supporting Prashant in that show, if I know anything about you, it has to be that ... but who did you like in II3 --- Emon and Deepali? Amanat- well I could write a whole paper on him. But fine, I'll agree there --- yes definitely versatile, and koi mil gaya wasn't as great as the judges made it out to be.
