Eid Mubarak everyone!

Eid-ul-Adha is a festival performed after the end of Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca). It follows the story of Abraham pbuh, God asked Abraham to prove his loyalty by sacrificing for God the thing he holds most beloved, Abraham pbuh willingly chose to sacrifice his son Ismail pbuh for God. At the point when he was about to slaughter him, God changed Ismail pbuh into an animal, from then on this tradition is followed of sacrifing an animal on Eid-ul-Adha. Food is cooked, shared with friends and family, and given to the poor.

And there was an attack in Pakistan, when? I didn't hear of it.

Correction for Woh Janabi: Slight correction I like to make. Muslims believe Abraham's elder son Ismail who was about to sacrifice when Allah send a Goat instead for the sacrifice and makes this as one of the pillar of Islam.

Christian believe its Isaac but not muslims. I never heard that god changed Isaac into animal. Isaac was later became a messenger of Islam too like Ismail aleh assalam.

I'm so sorry Khan ji, I feel really stupid, I meant to right Ismail pbuh and not Isaac pbuh, and I wrote something different altogether. Please excuse my mistake, I shall edit.
