Now Flamin Hot Kuri wants to know what the jaanta belives....do you guyz think International singers are more loved, supported, popular and vulnerable compared to Indian contestants? maybe for the following reasons...

A - different and confident their charm and personality speaks for itself and thus makes them stand out from the crowd e.g Mauli Dave (my most favourite contestant of all time)

B- Language disadvantage which the audience finds highly adorable..e.g Asma (2009) and Paresh.(2007)

Vulnerable...e.g Zaheer...Now if anything goes wrong in India they start attacking the pakistani singers, throw them out etc etc...

Regardless of wheather the jaanta have attacked the above contestants in a positive light or negative, they have still exploited ways themselves or situations have aroused as such for them to be under the lime light, for them to become the centre of attention.

Now do you believe votes are affected because of all this? many argue that asma (and previoulsy mauli) do not have the high standard of talent to be in top 10 - if that is the case why still in the show.

What buys more vote...talent or x-factor ....in this equation x stands for uniqueness, charm, personality, country, looks etc.

WARNING:

This thread is not designed for fellows like Rock on To start bashing attacks on member or another Pakistan-India world war- if you fancy doing that, do it on other thread..leave mines clean please..remember we are King Anu's girls....and if the worst comes to worst his girls comes first!

yeah so please share your views.

Cheers!

xoxo

International contestants should logically have
a slight disadvantage.
But Asma difies all logic and is an exception. Although she is not the best singer (which she herself admitted)
yet she has managed to hang on.
Personally I do like her very much but in singing
she is not the best we have.

I think what youre saying about x factor audience sympathy works very strongly for the foreigner contestants while voting but it could also work for the indian contestantns for voting ( perfect eg is today's episode with Debojit Dutta being autistic and all) even though sometimes their singing talent is not always the best on the group ( eg also Asma) but thats something that cant be kept away from the show after all its a reality show ( or meant to be one at any rate) 😊 and its a damn entertaining one at that 👍🏼

The show is not a talent hunt to find good singers. It is about raking in the moolah! Fortunately due to this , singers like Asma , Mauli can hold strong. We loose good singers like Naina , Kaushik etc.

I really sympathize with the judges who know which singers are focused and which aren't , but for the sake of format of the show they have to keep on saying and giving Super , Fanstastic , Mindblowing, History to non-talented people.

The truth is that these international singers (ie US/UK/Oman) are usually not at the same level as the singers from India/Pak. Which makes sense because India/Pak singers are classically trained and have been doing this for most of their lives, whereas most international singers are just doing this as a hobby. Now, these international singers want coverage on TV and the channel wants higher TRPs, so its a win-win situation on both sides. Its only the audience that suffers in the end.

well out of the international contestants in the past seasons i only really liked mauli and yeah like you said she's also my all-time favourite contestant. because she had this confident aura about her and she seemed friendly and gelled well with everyone. also because her voice was something special which no one had seen before.

however both scenarios - a and b can result in 2 different crowds.
crowd1: people who are die-hard fans (eg me)
crowd2: people who hate them completely and bash them for every reason.

so yeah. it has its advantages as well as its disadvantages.

the contestants from overseas are talented but they lack training. Mauli was the best of the lot👏
