question on muscial notes

er.. how exactly does one learn musical nores?😕

i found across my old casio and i played notes.. u no... sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa..

i did it for a while..

and then i closed my eyes and pressed on a random key to see if i could identify it.. and boy how many times i failed 😛 some how i managed to identify sa and dha.. phew

am i doing something wrong?
do i need more practice??😕
am i just naturally besura??😆
or do i need to use raagas to learn it?

OBJ.. it takes lots and lots of practice, good hearing capabilty and talent to recocnize the notes just listeting the music. Proffessional musician ( those who played back up musician in sa re ga ma) they can easily write notatioin of the song simply listening. Kudos to your try and i hope u ll learn more with practice.

First you must get Guruji and start your training....Practice - Riyaz is a life long comittment...I give u credit for trying to learn on your own...Interest is there so anything is possible....
