yea that had the best singers.. aneek,raja,amanat,sumedha,mussarat,abhijeet was good but he sounded like hariharan,poonam tho not versatile,mouli tho inconsistent still ok... better than the jokers this season..

For me 2007 was pretty bad. All female contestants were voted out by male loving gender biased Indian Janta. Three male competing aganist each other, no female voice...YUCK..

I love 2009 for Vaishali, Pratibha and Yashita..I love 'Chote Ustad' Ashwariya..she was awesome.

yes...
aishwarya was fabulous.

but 07 the female contestants weren't as good as yash and pra and vai.. amanat raja aneek did deserve.. and harpreet ,abhijeet apurva and the bald fellow were eliminated first, so it wasn't gender biased.

I didnt watch the entire 2005 and so cannot comment on that. Between 2007 and 2009, I like both - there are pros and cons for both. In 2007, Poonam, Raja, Amanat, Aneek, Sumedha - they were all good and had the originality too. Mauli wasnt as bad as Asma, so it was very bearable. In 2009, Vaishali, Prathibha, Soumen are all good, but unfortunately we lost a bunch of other good ones for Asma. Pity Zee! In terms of drama, 2009 is explosive and unbearable. In terms of apparel worn by contestants - 2007!! In terms of judges, I like Shankar in 2009, and I liked Shekhar and Bappita in 2007. Of course, the History score in 2009 has long lost its true value and meaning (sigh); the scores were more reasonable and impartial in 2007 without any doubts.

U mean poonam and sumedha are not good enough. Umm interesting. Anyway personal choices are different. For me Poonam is one of the best female contestant i have seen in these musical show. No one from this year comes close to her except pratibha to some extent.
