Nothing of that sort happened because unless you're proven guilty, you are innocent and knowing how Indian judicial system has proven to be inept time and time again, he won't ever be convicted or be found guilty...

So he is "innocent"...

Oh please ! which world are you living in ? He has run over one person and has even admitted to it. He has given the victim's family 10 lakh rupees which is also well known. Another guy who lost his leg got 4 lakhs. Infact he has included this in his petition to the judge and asked for pardon.

He was earlier booked for Negligent driving and then the Judge has changed the charges to a more serious one -

Culpable homicide not amountin to Murder.

This charge means that the person has made a mistake and broken a law but his intentions were not to kill anyone and hence it is not a murder case.

So he can be given a jail term from 3 yr to 10 yr under this law.

This charge was again reversed by a single bench judge in 2007 and now the police has challenged that decision again, so the charged of culpable homicide may be re-applied.

So please do not say that he is guilty as he himself has asked for Pardon. To what extent is he guilty, is yet to be decided - thats all.

But as I have said earlier, he may be let off with a small jail term because of his money & underworld power. Similar was the case of Alistair Perreira who ran over 7 people and was given only a 6 month jail term ! When people made a hue and cry, it was increased to 2 years.

I wish Salman gets atleast 3 years (if not 10). If a commoner like me had run over someone under influence of alcohol, then I would have been in jail for a long time. Thats where our law system sucks !

Mumbai: The trial in a hit-and-run case, in which actor Salman Khan is facing the charge of killing one person and injuring four, would resume in a local court on February two with the examination of a key witness.

On last occasion, the court had issued bailable warrant against witness Ravindra Patil who failed to turn up for cross-examination.

He was told to appear without fail on February two, Salman's lawyer Dipesh Mehta told sources.

The prosecution's case has received a boost with Patil telling the trial court that the actor drove rashly on September 28, 2002, killing one and injuring four when his car rammed into a bakery.

Patil, who was accompanying Salman as police bodyguard in the same car which met with the accident, told the suburban Bandra magistrate that he had warned the actor not to drive rashly or else he would meet with an accident but he did not pay heed to his advice.

The examination of the witness has already concluded and Salman's lawyer Dipesh Mehta is all set to cross-examine him on February two

AWW he does so much for charity. He has such a great big heart to give money to poor people. He should be given a special recognition by the Indian government for these kind gestures.

Offcourse he will be given a special recognition by the Indian government ! Infact for having such a 'big heart' and doing such 'great works of charity', he will be rewarded by the Indian govt with a 2 year jail term !

His kind gestures will be further rewarded when he is given a 5 yr jail term for showing his great shooting skills in the deserts of Rajasthan.

I am sure that his CHARITY will not go un-recognised by the Indian Govt.😉

Jokes, apart, what you have said above is really in bad taste. I know you are joking but common, you are refering to a Victim's family who has lost their son and only earning member. Calling this an act of charity, dont you feel is insulting to those poor people who have lost someone ?

Anyways, I think I have drifted from the topic. Although this topic is about Obnoxious Salman and I am just trying to show that he is far more obnoxious in real life than he was on the show. But to each his own.

1. You mean criminals should be pardoned for if they are charitable?

2. If if you apply this logic, Bill Gates has the license to kill atleast 10 people and get away without any punishment!

Well I won't comment anything about salman case becuse it is judiciary matter and I don't hve much knowlegde about facts about the case. I don't belive Indian media's sources so I will not say anything regarding it.

As far as i know salman khan he does not talk to the people whom he hates like SRK shahid kapoor, John and many more.

He was talking to himesh and hence I fell they are good friends. Even in recent interview has said that there no fall out between them.

Regarding arrogant image I can only say that you can't judge a person on the basis of media reports and reality shows .

Some people are like coconut hard & tough from outside and sweet & soft from inside. I fell both himesh and salman are just like cocunut.

They both have seen lot of pains & criticisms in life.

Salman lost Ash while himesh lost his brother.

Well said. A person character is judge by what others say about that person. King is yet to see salman gloat about his charity work. Rather his higness has heard from countless others even in absence of slaman that how he helps others and secretly gives lots of money to needy.

The accusation that people support him for underworld connections just shows the dirty thinking of some and doesnt say anything about salman.. These are same people who blame everything that a community does to underworld connections.

As far himesh is concerned. yes he showed tremendous respect when salman had fun with him. Salman is kind of a person who is open and himesh must have rejected working with him and that has made salman mad.

himesh on the other hand has control over himself . even if he is guilty he will not show therefore he remined quite but deep inside he knew that he has done something bad like rejecting a film of salman while salman gave him a break

salman had similar problem with ruk ruk khan. ruk ruk did not come to salman's show while salman went to his. there could be professional commitments, career reasons so salman should not expect a lot.
