Pleading " not guilty" is just a judicial process whereby he or she whoever is accused agrees to stand on trial. There is nothing wrong with it. Everyone has the right to a fair trial whether he is rich, poor or whatever and he can be accused of any sort of a crime. That is the right of the citizen of a country.
There might be witnesses saying " he did it" or whatever but he has the right to cross examine them and defend himself atleast once.
I am not defending anyone, I am just correcting certain facts which Reemaji is not aware of.
And yes I watch the news but the chinkara case is old and registered in 1998 and he was in trial until 2007 and has now gone on appeal.
So he gave an interview where he said that because he was arrested people are aware of wildlife crimes and it has reduced and the wildlife in our country is increasing because of this awareness as people dont poach as much as they used to.
I find nothing wrong or stupid with his statements.
I am not fooled or anything , for you maybe the moment a person is accused of something he is guilty but it doesnot happen that way because there are 1000s of factors which need to be considered and looked into and that is why a judiciary is in place in countries.
Otherwise it would be just like " oh you are caught spend time in prison". It doesnot work that way.
All trials in India take years to come to a conclusion not just those involving the rich or powerful because courts are few, judges are few and far between in number, p[opulation is more and lakhs of cases pending for years.
Some cases even donot go to trial and the accused or the witness passes away.
Its the fault of the system and not the rich.
My friend who lost her father in a road accident 10 yrs ago , it involved a truck driver who was drunk but what has happened to the case??
Nothing, it lies somewhere in the police station and has not even come up for trial though we are trying for all these years.
This is just an example, there are lakhs of such cases in India.
And please dont tell me the truck driver is rich.
The media in India will have everyone believe that the rich always get away with all sorts of things, but its not true. Even the poor or middle class do, because their cases are not sensationalized like some of these high profile cases are. So most of them donot come up even for a trial or it takes anything btn 10-20 years for trials to be concluded, leave alone the appeal process.
And there are many innocents who are languishing in prisons because they donot have enough bail money to be paid or they cannot hire a defence and because our system is so slow.
Who will give back the lives of these people?? Noone is bothered not even the media.
There have been people who have been declared " not guilty" after they have died languishing in our jails for 25-30 years.
I do believe OJ Simpson is guilty but the prosecution did a pathetic job all those years ago and his defence took advantage of that.
Its the prosecution's fault that they were too busy attending the media that they forgot to work on the case and bring convincing evidence to book the man.
I believe he has been recently convicted for robbery .
And besides Salman's cases have nothing to do with saregamapa, 😆 its Reemaji who brought all this up in this topic .

I hate Salman Khan from the pit of my stomach. He is a really bad tingu actor, a very bad dancer and a very bad human being. Just a six pack could take a person to this level is beyond me. To top is now he is really really old which shows on his face. Katrina is making a fool out of him and using him as a ladder to go up and she is to some extant successful in doing that. I bet she will never ever marry him. She has to have something going on with Akshay. Anyway, what is the point os all this, time will fade these people away and we will hope to see a better bollywood.
