A special advice to you, when you are writing country name start the first letter with capital e.g. India, UK, Oman so on. My history and geography is very bad and I dont know much about past but the fact is that we Indian work hard and seek the opportunity on the basis of talent and not on sympathy. Whatever we are or where ever we are its our own effort. By the way 100 of movies were still produce even in 1950's and it has nothing to do with unemployment in 80's or 90's or foreigner allowing us to work for them.
Your trying to use Asma name to remove ur frustration on India.

Countdown shows that there are now 4 ladies and 3 men left. so Asma is one of the Magnificient 7. That would have been an odd of 1:200 at least if we had placed our bets at the begining of the show. 😍
I wonder if Asma feels a bit of discomfort while better singers are falling by the wayside.

Yes agreed. We are talking Top 7 now and people who have been singing since young are being eliminated.
Perhaps it is really Public voting and the Public are head over heels for Asma. But does not sound logical.😆

ok so akkana you are saying that asma does not deserve to be in srgmp so how did shilpa shetty win uk big brother without completing a single task .you are saying that india treats foreigners nicely and are fair but why did indias biggest channel zee tv air footage of asma being teased by contestants when they could prevent it. if there was honesty in voting in india you would not put up this forum of results being rigged for asma by zee tv.the doubt of rigging exists in your backward indian mind because you cant accept that asma has got votes. asma has got the votes she deserved from india and middle east for people who love her innocence and truthfulness combined with singing and looks.she is perfect combo and can be an idol for india rather than yashita or sara who backstabbed their best freind asma by teasing her on srgmp 24th october but asma still forgived both of them.

If you believe Asma deserves to be there and qualifies big to win the competition, good for you; it's your opinion and you can live with it. You cannot make me swallow it though. Shilpa Shetty has nothing to do with SRGMP and should not even be discussed here. We are discussing Asma, and not Shilpa. As I have said earlier, I dont care about Shilpa and her issues in UK. Asma isnt good enough for Bollywood music industry - bottom line. If her voters will buy all her CDs if she wins, good for her and the producer, but that is not going to change my opinion about Asma's singing talent on the show. If she proves otherwise later, I dont have any problems accepting it either. But as long as her singing is of low quality among very talented contestants, I will not vote for her. Her nationality or religion has nothing to do with it. I have always supported Shujat, Amanat, Arshad, Raja and all - if you get the message!
Zee TV has aired teasing of other contestants too - one of them between Tarun and Kaushik, another one about everyone against Debo and Pritam. They also showed about Vaishali's past, Yashita's and Sara's stories about growing up without a father, etc. If you have started watching the show recently, you just missed it. Despite showing the Asma drama, they also showed how all the judges made the contestants apologize to Asma and bring her back on stage. When Shankar sang the "Ma" song, Asma was crying and Vaishali was holding her and consoling her like a big sister. Where else she will get that kind of treatment if not India?! You got to get rid off your anti-Indian attitude first and start seeing with open eyes, and then everything will fall into place for you and the picture would be clearer. BTW, when did they show Sara and Yashita as Asma's friend??
I dont think Asma get highest votes. If she did, how come she has been never in top three so far?! How did she end up in bottom three before? Why - her voters decided to cut down the votes that week? The votes are all fabricated by the channel and are not completely accurate as shown in the show. If it was, Soumen, Zaheer and Yashita would have never gone into bottom three even once before top six or five. And I dont think India is desperate for an idol like Asma. It looks like you think if Asma wins, all foreigners will start buying her CD and will listen to her Hindi songs - you are in cloud nine!!
Your post clearly indicates who has backward thinking. I have no interest in clearing your incorrect perceptions about India and Indians, as people who are adamant to remain in the dark will always be in the dark and we dont want to waste our time for them. I rest my case!

for all those anti asma.we in dubai and gulf love her and support her.she is the pride of middle east for arabs and indian expats living in gulf away from our families in india.i belong to karnataka and have been living in dubai for the past 4 years. i have watched her winning srgmp middle east. she beat 99 south asian expats living in gulf to win the competition as the only non hindi speaking arab local. i have voted for her since her srgmp middle east days and still voting for her for srgmp international.you members akanna summer etc can make fun of her hindi but she will always be in our hearts even if she does not win srgmp.you make fun of her giving a hug to soumen but if you understand it was a brother-sister hug.you make fun that her mother abuses her because she comes from a conservative culture but she has proved that every women has the right to dream and win the show irrespective of their background.she is one in a million arab women who have shown such courage and will to work hard and win. her innocence represents 2 crore south asian expats and 3 crore arabs of middle east. adesh srivatava was judge of srgmp middle east and he gave history and superhit for most of her performances. you call her a bad singer on the basis of comments given to her by co conestants on 24th october where they teased her but she is already a celebrityin middle east.

Yaar naam badalne se insaan nahi badal jaata. 😉 Yaar when did you arrive in Dubai from Switzerland.
I mentioned even in my earlier post please respect the country name, India, Dubai etc. etc.... and dont even pretend to be an Indian which ur not. There is no need to mention any name country name in this forum if you read the rules before posting.
.
I respect your sentiments for Asma, and whatever happened on 24th we all were upset irrespective of where we live.

But, a mouse is a king of his own territory but when it comes to a bigger picture, Lion is the king of the Jungle....! 😉 😆

Hello Kakoona, nice to meet you. Now at least someone has really stood up for Asma because you really like her singing. I do not think anyone dislikes her and neither do I. Generally everyone likes her as a person and differences is only due to individual preferences in singing. As to her Hindi I have no problems either and guess everyone understands that she is trying her best.
