I think she has the cutest voting request. It makes me laugh. After hers I like Soumen's, then Sara and Zaheer's

She is considered as an innocent person. I think puting finger in the mouth she portrays as an innocent person. I did not even know what is bad thing about that. I have seen lot of heroine in the movies (old movies) putting finger in the mouth when a situation of thinking or something...

Asma's gesture with finger is of innocense and cute.....No where seductive as I read......Not atleast to MOI.
In old times actresses used to pose like that in the movie to be cute...
Asma's facial expressions are innocent.....I don't see anything negative or bad in that....
As a matter of fact my GD does that when she is in her thinking mode going "Hmmmm" so there u go... 😃

I don't know either, I said it wasn't a seductive gesture, but then I honestly don't know what a seductive gesture would be unless it was outright scandalous. But the words seductive and Asma just don't go together for me. I dunno. I don't think we should make any judgment of her character based on it though, since, like you said, we don't know her personally.

Thank you. I agree with you that seductive gesture and Asma are in two extremes. But that gesture is still quite awkward for me... Might be the impression set in my head from the screen shows... I remember seeing Sharmila Tagore in an old movie where she played a call girl character and she was showing gestures like that when she met Manoj Kumar I think, who was really her father..?

There is a difference though - they dont wink. That's why Asma's gesture bugs me. I have seen Sridevi, Juhi, Madhuri, etc doing similar gestures to show either they are thinking or they are innocent or they did something stupid unknowingly - but never seen them wink at the same time. The same with little children - they put fingers in their mouth but they dont wink. The eyes should be either wider (surprised) or upwards with face downwards, or straight stare; but definitely should not be winking for innocence...

BTW, it's a seductive gesture I believe, because whenever they show call girl characters in any movies or serials, they show them do the same or similar gestures. I havent seen one in real life, so my comment was based on what I have seen on screens...

I guess you are going a little over with this. This very well be a gesture used of seduction, it also applies to innocence. Its all in the eyes😉

I agree. So it's not just you, I didnt want to start a topic on it. But now that you had said, yes, I feel awkward every time I see that ad. She showed the same seducing gesture to Imran and Abhishek while on stage too, during her talk about the movie story and asking them to be in it! For a girl who comes from a very conservative culture, that was shocking and I dont think she is that naive to do it without knowing what it really means.

what!!! i don't think it has anything to do with seducing😕 . . . it's just her habit...It's not meant for anything inappropriate.....some people just make a mountain out of a mole hill....gosh.....!!!
