Don't u think the voting appeal commercial of Asma is a bit weird? I mean the part where she puts her finger in her mouth and stuff? It doesn't look right...

I agree. So it's not just you, I didnt want to start a topic on it. But now that you had said, yes, I feel awkward every time I see that ad. She showed the same seducing gesture to Imran and Abhishek while on stage too, during her talk about the movie story and asking them to be in it! For a girl who comes from a very conservative culture, that was shocking and I dont think she is that naive to do it without knowing what it really means.

What I find the weirdest of all is her still being on the show and great singers like Tarun and Kaushik being eliminated.....something is wrong somewhere because true music lovers could not be voting for her. She is tarnishing the image of SRGMP big time!!!

It could be all the production folks' work. But she should oppose to do things that she doesnt want to do - or does she think (by mistake of course) that she looks real cute that way?! I dont know - anything is possible since we dont know her personally enough.

BTW, it's a seductive gesture I believe, because whenever they show call girl characters in any movies or serials, they show them do the same or similar gestures. I havent seen one in real life, so my comment was based on what I have seen on screens...

I don't know either, I said it wasn't a seductive gesture, but then I honestly don't know what a seductive gesture would be unless it was outright scandalous. But the words seductive and Asma just don't go together for me. I dunno. I don't think we should make any judgment of her character based on it though, since, like you said, we don't know her personally.
