I get your point but Mauli and Jenice are good for certain songs which Naina, Pratibha, Vaishali or anyone else cannot sing. Example: Mayya Mayya, Namak Ishq ka, Dubja mere pyar main, shakalaka baby, and a lot more. I agree that they r not meant to sing the songs like kabhi alvida na kehna or any other high pitched songs. They are better for western songs and not for classical songs. But, because they have limited genre doesn't mean that they are not good singers. They do extremely well in their field. I cannot overemphasize that fact more than that.

Yes. Generally not everyone can excel in all song types. Generally certain songs sound best with certain singers. So for contestants song selections plays a major role.
