It seems that SRGMP has got plenty of talents and too few places.
Survinder was great and loved his "Singh is King".
Shasi had no reason to be eliminated , perhaps no hype and rona dhona tears and drama.
Arshad, Manisha and Mitaka were also complimented by all the Mentors and subsequently kicked out too. No drama again like Shasi.

Shankar was the guest judge in Marathi SRGMP in one of the final rounds and there was a round in which singers sung songs composed by Shankar. Here is Vaishali's full song...goonji si hai

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEHqZx09hZU&feature=related

After the song, skip to 4:20 and listen to Shankar's comments..he says I wish my other two partners Ehsan and Loy were here to listen to your song....and he finally says that it is unfortunate that I have not recorded this song with you...now we all know Shankar is not the one who does false praise and he means what he says..............

In another round she sung...piyu bole piya bole.... where the songs writer Swanand Kirkire was the guest judge....this rendition is simply superb...

Thanks. She has sung very well however, in singing songs like "Piyu Bole" a comparison will always be made against the original sung by Shreya. This puts many at a disadvantage. Still Vaishali will come out well in life. Win or lose she should continue to sing and never give up. She is lucky to be in the presence of the 4 Mentors ( including the "Roti Man" who actually needs a lot of lady singers as he has many films lined up).

yes she is very professional.
This time the Mentors hyped her by coming on stage. This is very good. Hope everyone keeps supporting all the good singers.

Not just Marathi songs. The 2 songs she has sung so far on this show (Nimbooda and Ishka Bina kyaa) were flawless and full of expression. She's clearly a better singer than Asma, Sarah and a few others. It will be a great pity if she has to struggle for votes against these singers! Amongst the females, Vaishali, Pratibha and Yashita should be at the top of the ladder if singing skills is the only criteria for judgment.

Yes agreed. When Himeshji mentioned that a lady could be the champion he means that Vaishali too has a pretty good chance if the cards are played right. But Zee has a habit of overhyping certain persons, and upsetting the voting patterns ( frankly I think the votes are rigged).

Yes, usually, the favourites burn out as the competition advances and some dark horse (or nare?) wins. Remember, both, Debojit Saha and Aneek Dhar were not the favourites when their respective schedules began. How is the dark horse this time? ASMA? (I hope not!). Or will they make some Pakistani participant win this time to raise Zee TV's popularity amongst the people from that country?

I don't like her singing, she is too screechy. Her voice is very old school, it sounds like some old lady singing. Last performance of hers where she sang Lambi judai blah blah, she made a young fresh song sound very stale.
