Sir Mahadevan,

I consider you as one of the best music directors in India and respect you. I don't care much for Aadesh, Himesh and Pritam, but I think you are one of the most knowledgeble persons in music, sur, taal and gayeki. Then how can you sit and digest all this saas bahu kind of show?

If it is REALLY a music/ singing competition, then how is it possible that Shashi, Manisha, Sayon an Mikita are out???? Do you think/agree that the remaining singers are better than those mentioned above? Specially Aasma?

How can you sit through as a judge of this so called siniging competition which is more suited as a tear jurker soap opera? Does someone with funny accent or being poor with two unmarried sisters etc etc qualify them to move forward in this show?

If no one will stand up agianst this trend, I am sure music lovers will loose interest in these musical competition shows. Sa Re Ga Ma used to have high standards and class, but not anymore.

I hope you will play an important role in stopping this trend.

When you are paid crores, you are bound to follow the script as laid out in the contract. Even Satya Harischandra maharaja would've lied if he had participated in shows like SRGMP and the other farce called Noice of India both shamefully claiming to be musical reality shows.

Why i have this feeling that both these shows are competing to be the worst shows on TV?

Music has become an endangered species nowadays especially on TV.

Unfortunately, the only way to stop this fiasco is for viewers to stop watching them. As viewers, despite complaining and not approving what we are seeing, continue to watch it because in a weird sort of way, we've become 'addicted' to it because we are so angry. We should start a new poll and write to Zee and collectively agree to stop watching it . Wonder if it will affect them?

Why don't you mail zee using the same letter?

It would be a pretty good wake up call for them to realize audience is not folls...

If a show like chote ustaad can be produced, why not saregama 2009?

Do you think they care? I doubt that they will even read the mail. I hope Shankar reads all these posts.

Well with enough complaints they will listen.

But in Public voting results and eliminations is a big question, unless the results are rigged.

Seems like the results are rigged and they are going as per a script. Mikita is out because she didn't have a funny accent and did not have a sob story.

Yes if enough mails are sent they HAVE to listen- thye have no choice😕

so keep mailing them and don't forget it only takes 2 min

Then they might bring back Shahsi,manisha,Mitikaa nd sayon👏

Maybe write to the Judges' blogs or whatever they have - personal websites etc. If enough people write to them saying how stupid they are being made to look, surely it would affect their self image? Unless they are not bothered by their status!
