Did sara deserve to be promoted over Deepali?

This is surprising that Sara has been in the controversy most of the time, be it slogan of Lakshya, indep day or today, some how she and controversy go hand in hand.

When Sara gave her first performance in the show I felt that she was very promising. She has a good voice but has been inconsistent. I really liked her sufi number by Abida Parveen and Piya ke rung. But that goes to show that she has limitations and is not able to sing songs of different genres. I still like her but do feel that she is not the strongest contestant.

Some MD's go by the performance on the day and some i'm guessing go by several...hance sara is still there and yeah Deepali was a little too excited to point the finger...but i doubt sara would last more than 1 or 2 more rounds...she is still pretty good

yes deepali isn't that good. her performances leave me bored, or she looks like she's feeling awkward singing the song.

i like sara much better than deepali. i thought it was kinda low of her to start playing the blame game....did she think sara would not respond back?

sara has so much attitude , pride on her face....its so clear.....she tried to look cute or whatever.....but she is not

and obviously zee is promoting her so much and many other non deserving pakistani contestants...........and eliminating all the deserving ones.....this series is worst than all the previous ones......

If it is based on daily performance Deepali IMHO was better in the solo round though in duet Sara was ahead till the chaos happened.

When ending the song jiya jale Sara took an alaap where she added a komal re, that was a beautiful point, I wish she was in sur but this is a difficult song and track destroys the whole feeling. I remember that engg in VOI doing this number last year and she also failed. This song is a litmus test of kharaj sur

I am kinda not happy with the Top 10. I wouldn't have minded one more person leaving from either group. I think Agnipariksha can easily do without Faraz and Sara. As for the remaining, I think Shujaat, Debojit. Mitika, Yashita, Naina, Kaushik, Pratibha and Zaheer all deserve to be in the Top 14.

Anyway, what happens now? If we have these ten through then we still have four spots remaining and the Wild Card allows reentry to only two people. So who are the remaining 2, I am expecting some regional winners to enter a la Shoumen Nandi, winner of Saregamapa Bengal. No idea who the other one's gonna be.

Btw, it would be 256 different shades of awesome if 4 contestants are allowed entry through the wild cards and we can get Arshad, Survinder, Manisha and Shoumen. That has the makings of a near-perfect top 14.

On another note, the real moment of the night was that astrologer dude saying "yahan puranay log bethay hain" and the look on the Mahaguru's face. Timeless.

I agree with all of it though I would add that Sayon should come back as well.

No it has to be sahhsi, arshad, mansiha and sunvinder. i don't even know soumen he sang only 1 song nd he should not come back.
